 Jamie was about a quarter of the way home when she started to hear the bustle and panic of people. She turned her to find out what people were shouting about.“Get out of the way, the Lord’s horse is loose!” The Baker shouted. A battalion of men was camped on the outskirts of Fairbridge. They had gone to the plans of Arna to buy horses and dogs that would be trained for use in the army. Arna horses were intelligent and wild, both attributes made them incredible battle horses. They could do as much damage as four trained soldiers.Jamie saw the locals run to the side trying to find cover, a little boy was in the middle of the road shouting “Mama!“ Time seemed to slow down for Jamie, she saw the large black Stallion with crazy black eyes speeding down the road.  Two days later Sam sighed and looked down at the sound asleep red hair girl in the back of the medical cart. Of course, Lord Raoul ordered a private cart for her and has ordered Sam to guard it. Not only that, Sam had to inform the Lord as soon as she woke up!  Sam knew that everyday sleeping beauty did not wake up, the higher the anxiety level in certain people became. Even the strange Black Cat seem to be getting worried!  The Black Cat intermittently licked the girl’s cheek or whacked her on the nose with his paw in an attempt to wake up the girl. Most of the time the Black Cat just sat on Kitten’s chest and glared at anyone who came near. No one has dared try to remove the Black Cat, it was all a bit strange really! “

Three weeks later. Jamie was excited to get up this morning, it was her sixteenth birthday after all! Jamie had fully recovered from her ordeal and had spent time in either the Royal Kennels or Stables. The Capital itself was huge! Riversmeet was built around the meeting of two rivers: The River Strong and The Blackwell. The Blackwell had dark peaty water from the highlands of Riverswell. Jamie accepted and her training had continued. For the physical training, she could now able to run ten miles with ease.
