I walk into the classroom straight to the lecture podium. I should have probably stopped by my new office and dropped my blazer, 'cause it's kinda hot in here. It's not like there aren't working air conditioning here, it is the anticipation of seeing the one man who's made me feel all these weird feelings these past months. It's strange and foreign and I hate that I'm starting to feel like that again even if I haven't seen him yet.    I drop my bag on the desk and lecture textbooks and notes on the desk. I look up at my supposed students and I count nearly 100 students. There are a lot and I don't bother to look for Chase. I can't, cause I'm scared I'll screw up and fuck my first lecture up. I clear my throat as so many eyes stare at my face.     All right here we go.    A girl approaches me as she hands me the roll call. It's the list of the student's names that are taking my class this semester

CHASE'S POV     Fuck!   Six months. I couldn't get her out of my head. Never in my life have I craved for a woman whom I've fucked once. Normally when I see a woman I liked, it's always sex. The minute you're in my bed, the next you're out. I'm never fucking you again.    But having Lauren in her bed, with my head in between her legs and me fucking her senseless I just couldn't help it. I couldn't stop thinking about her. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't. I wanted to have her again. And again, every single fucking day. The second I left her apartment that fateful night six months ago, I regretted leaving without at least taking her number.    And seeing her yesterday on that podium as she introduced herself as my substitute physics professor, I was shocked. I least expected the woman who gave me crazy dreams for the last five months to be standing right in front of me. And she's my professor.

It's Friday afternoon and I'm having lunch at the staff restaurant with Jade and Madelyn. I met them yesterday and they're also lecturers from the same faculty as me. They're pretty great though.  "— and then I told my man if he wasn't ready to take me to Hawaii for vacation, then I'm not interested anymore." Madelyn says and Jade laughs. I really don't know what's funny.    Jade's shorter than me. Latin American, olive skin, big green eyes and she's kinda pretty. She dresses in tight clothing sometimes and I'm always tempted to take her to a corner and tell her her choice of clothing is too tight. I don't know why she dresses like that though, it's like she has this massive crush on Leo with the way she throws her arms around him when they stop to talk. And she always giggles a lot.    And Madelyn, she's white. Pale skinned, grey eyes, she's tall, and smiles a lot. Well she's one of the few female teachers who d

It's been days since my talk with Chase. I can't believe I've finally ended things. It was awkward the following day for me 'cause throughout the lecture Chase didn't show up. I was worried. For the short time I've begun teaching his class, Chase doesn't miss any of my classes. And today is Friday, Chase wasn't in my class yesterday either. I was tempted to call him and then I realized I didn't have his number. God I miss him and it hurts we can't be more than anything professional. Even though Anderson and I are already dating, I still find myself thinking about Chase throughout the whole week.     Anderson and I are now officially dating even if we're not in a relationship. He's not that bad. Every night he's always calling to check on me while sometimes he just drops me romantic texts just to ask after my day.    Beyoncé’s album blast through my stereo as I make dinner for myself. It's nearly 6pm and I have papers to grade. I hum to the so

" How do you try not to fuck your extremely hot student? With his never ending dating request and 'fuck me' eyes." I ask.   Roxie, Tanner, and I are in our favorite bar. It's Friday night and we're out to drink and have a nice conversation like we always do. After the last encounter I had with Chase the past week, with his aunty, Katie Morgan, Chase had stopped pursuing me. But every day in class, he always gives me that 'fuck me' eyes and raises his hand to ask questions just so he can have an opportunity to talk with me. And at the end of each class, Chase would smirk and wink at me and then he would leave with his friend whom I came to recognize as Corey.  " Wait, he gives you the 'fuck me' eyes?" Roxie asks as she takes a gulp from her drink. We had to force her to come out with us this weekend. Ever since she got back with Stevie, she's been acting super weird. I mean Stevie was extremely controlling before they fell apart, but I'm thin
