CHASE'S POV    I can't think. I can't concentrate. Lauren was supposed to be here with me. It's my family's dinner and I told them I was gonna bring someone. She said she has fallen in love with me, so why break up with me?      I have never understood women growing up. I never did and I don't bother because I didn't care. " I haven't seen Tina around. She's gone?" Chase asks.   It's Saturday and I'm in my apartment with Chase. I'm happy we're back together and on good terms. I've been avoiding Anderson's calls since Friday, yesterday because I want nothing to ruin this for me. We just got back together after I almost ruined things and eventually broke things off with Chase.   I know what I'm doing is bad. Leaving Anderson on hang because of my reasons. He doesn't deserve any of the treatment I'm giving him. He's the second man who genuinely likes me and I just mistreated him. I feel bad. I mean, I should feel bad.    On Sunday, I clean the house and constantly check my phone for a reply from Chase. I haven't gotten anything yet. I feel like he was ghosting me.  " Are you okay?"   I wake up to the smell of coffee, bacon and eggs in the air. Without being told, I know my mom's behind that beguiling aroma. It's Monday morning. The day all of this pretentious act that has to deal with Chase comes to an end. If I'm lucky, today should be a good day for me. Chase left last night and I don't remember him leaving my bedroom. When I woke up at midnight, I found a handwritten note by Chase, telling me he couldn't spend the night and that he had to leave. Attached with beautiful kisses and I love yous.  I quickly take a shower and get dressed in a dark grey short sleeve dress. I slip my feet inside my pumps. I add a little natural make up and twirl around in front of my mirror. I look good. I grab my handbag and walk out of my bedroom to the kitchen. I am correct. " Who do you think would send you such creepy messages?" Tanner asks.   It's Saturday morning and I barely slept last night.
