Chapter 50
Brooklyn- A lot has happened over the past two months since I had my first heat cycle. Everything has been crazy around the pack. Apparently even after my heat ended, members were still in libido overdrive. It wasn’t as bad as it had been during my heat, but I swear every time I turned around, one of the males was trying to hook up with one of the females. I felt normal, better than normal. Other than the awkwardness between Tate and i. Who has been acting worse than before. One minute he is caring and almost seems like he wants to spend time with me. The next minute I was like I was just a nuisance to him. We spent a lot of time together during the four days I was in heat. He ended up having to stay at my place with me and sleep on the couch. I went through three intense episodes a day, the longer it took for Tate to get to me, the harder it had been to come out of it. I didn’t remember much about what happened after the heat hit, but I apparently ha

Chapter 51
Tatum-When my mother and Brook stood to leave, I debated asking Brook to stay. I just didn’t want my mother to know that I was concerned about them meeting up tomorrow. Brook watched my mother leave, though she didn’t follow. When the door closes, she sat back down in the chair and faced me.Over the couple of months she has been here, anger just wasn’t an expression I was familiar with on her. The way she shot daggers at me with her eyes, had me slinking down in my chair a little. I wasn’t sure what brought on her anger, I just knew it involved me.She didn’t speak right away and after a few minutes, I wasn’t sure if she even was going to. I took that as my cue to speak up and remind her not to let the contract slip. When it came to my mother, I was nervous. Not only because of her connection with the elders, but I loved my mother, and disappointment isn’t something I wanted to see in her, for me.“Look, I

Brooklyn-Feeling much better, since I finally opened up to Tate about how unfair he has been treating me, I climbed out of bed. I was going to be meeting with his mother today and I actually felt excited. Now I could learn of what a Luna even stood for in the pack. Not that I would be able to do a lot of the things, considering the contract. Although I may be able to get away with some things, as well as even request certain aspects in the revised contract. Really there had only been one major flaw in the contract, but maybe with the revision, other things could change. My biggest thing was the fact I couldn’t get into his business. I couldn’t protrude into his personal life. It wasn’t that I had a problem with it before, but now he was constantly in my business and I knew nothing about him.The part about staying out of his room, that didn’t bother me either. Except for the fact he made frequent visits to my room. It really did f

Brooklyn-“I wanted to bring up a few things that Luna’s do, for the pack. We aren’t just pretty faces that stand at the Alpha’s side, to smile and wave. Though many think that is all we are meant to do. We actually do a lot more behind the scenes.” Belle spoke, once we were finished eating.“What kind of things?”“Well, for starters we all have our own thing we like to do. Most Luna’s, like those before me, had different areas they excelled at. It is our responsibility to find a way to help the pack, by improving something. It can be multiple things, or even just one single thing. Think of it as a project. It can be something that needs created, or just improved.” She paused to take a drink from her orange juice.“I don’t know how much of the pack history you know, but most the business around here were created by a Luna, take the college for example. That had been Leslie’s pro

Tatum-Looking over the old contract, I was struggling with what to add or change for the new contract. I realized most of the rules no longer even mattered. Either I myself have broken them, or it was a moot point. Even coming up with rules to advise them, was turning out to be difficult.Honestly, I was half tempted to throw out the contract and say the hell with the rules. The rules were:No entering office without asking permission.Which no longer even mattered, I didn’t care if she came into my office.Stay out of each other’s room.Which was a rule I broke, practically immediately.Stay out of personal life. That I had also broken.Stay out of pack business unless it pertains to her. This one, well I was just undecided. I no longer wanted her to leave, so technically this rule should no longer apply.

Brooklyn-With the new contract finished, as well as Tate taking me to go purchase a laptop, I was feeling very productive today. It didn’t take him long to show me how to operate the computer. By the time I left his office, I had a plan in motion.I didn’t tell him what I was going to do. It really wasn’t something I wanted him to have a part in. We may have edited the contract, but I wasn’t sure if I could trust him to support my decision just yet. Maybe after I get things laid out.My main priority was to take my idea to the elders and get their support. This was important to me, I wasn’t going to let him or anyone else try to deter me from doing it. Even if they all said no, I still planned to do it. Even if I had to wait until after I left the pack.Going back up to my room, I set to work on doing some research. I had asked Tate if there was any type of way I could access information on other packs or even just the werew

Chapter 56
Brooklyn-By morning time, Eric still hadn’t returned. I had spent all night in a frantic state of mind, waiting for him to return. I just wish I knew what was going on in his head. It was obvious he hasn’t told Tate yet, otherwise, I would have heard something by now.I ended up sitting outside waiting for him. Pacing the way I was most of the night, I was afraid I was going to burn a hole in the carpet. The sun was just starting to peek out over the horizon. As much as I wanted to wait outside for Eric to show up, I knew I needed to get back inside. If others found me sitting outside, they were more than likely going to start questioning me. Standing up from the chair I had been sitting on, I was just about to head inside when I saw a dark grey wolf making its way towards me.I wasn’t sure if it was Eric or not, considering I have never seen his wolf before. I stopped anyway because I was hoping it was him. I had tried many times to sp

Brooklyn-Over the next few weeks, I enlisted Eric to help me with doing some research for my project. It had surprised him to learn what I wanted to do. With his help, I managed to come up with a rather solid plan of operation. He even offered to help me get everything up and running. There were a lot of kinks we still needed to work out, but he showed me an old abandoned apartment complex that was still functional. It just needed a bit of TLC. It would give the ones I help a place to stay. I spoke to some businesses around the pack and gave them a rundown of my plan. I needed to find people that would be willing to offer them jobs.Unlike me, in my situation, they would need to viably support themselves. With a long list of jobs that they would be able to offer to them, as well as a place for them to stay, I was feeling pretty good about things. Eric even helped me find a way to be able to track down the ones that needed help.It wouldn’t be easy

Tatum-The fact my touch soothed her, bothered me. It shouldn’t have been possible since we were not mated. Nor should I be able to control myself around her. Although, it was difficult. Just breathing in her scent was making me hard.Unlike before I was more worried about her than myself. After the first day of her last heat, it had been torture being around her. Every time she went into heat I was hit with an insatiable hunger for her. It was bad enough I had it even without her being in heat, it was just worse when she was.I knew she was in pain, it killed me not to comfort her. I just needed to know if she was sleeping with my brother. Before it was because he was my brother and it would cause problems with the contract situation. Except I didn’t give a damn about the contract. It was her and knowing that another man was touching her that bothered me. In the past couple of weeks, I have come to the realization that I really didn’t g

Chapter 59
Brooklyn-The fact that his offer made me want to accept it, more than his actual offer itself, surprised me. Maybe it had a little to do with me being in heat, but I don’t think it was the only reason. I was still of clear mind, enough to make an adequate decision and not be driven by my lust to accept it.Did I want him to give me pleasure? My body was demanding that I accept it, but mentally I was unsure. If I gave in, what would it mean for us? Admittedly, I liked him more than I cared for. He infuriated me endlessly. At the same time, he also made me feel things I didn’t understand. When he was near, I wanted to be close to him. I wanted to know more about him and comfort him when he was upset. The ordeal about the mate he lost, pulled at my heartstrings and I wanted to help him. Even when I felt like I hated him, I still cared for him.Things between us were confusing and a mess. Would it be so bad to let him touch me in the way my body
