Catori stared at the ripped extension of her gown and Cassie's shoe that was stepping on it. "Oops," the other girl said with a mischievous smile. "I must have stepped on you." Max rushed to the scene and put his hands on his head in despair. "What is the meaning of this, Cassie?" Alex said in anger. "Why would you do that?" Kelvin fired. The blonde girl put her hands up in mock surrender. "Eish it was an accident. I did not mean it," she said. "Whether or not you meant to do it doesn't matter," Max said bitterly. "What is she going to wear now?" "Just get her something regular or better still, don't let her come with us," Cassie said. "She obviously carries bad luck with her." Catori's jaw ticked. She turned to Max. "Is the tear very visible?" she asked. "I don't know what to say about it," he replied quietly. "Let m

Catori posed for what would be the fifth picture or so. When he was finally satisfied, the photographer let her go and get some rest before it was time for the next series of shoots. The sponsors were highly impressed with her, especially when she told them that this was her first time on the job. "You are doing quite well for a first timer," one of them commended her. "Keep it up, dear." Alex, Erica and Kevin were already waiting for her in the dressing room. She collapsed in a chair once she got past the door. "Sorry that we got here late," Erica apologized. "Kelvin and I had to go to school. It was later in the morning that I realized we never told you." Catori smiled through her aching feet. "It is alright. Lucy told me about your school when I got here," she said. She looked at Alex. "When did you get here?" she asked him. "A few minutes ago. You were already taking pictures by then," he replied, not sparing her a g

The two adults were silent for a long time. Erica said. "Maybe next time, you should calmly ask what happened before coming to talk nonsense." "Erica you should not say that," Alex scolded her. "No, I should," she said. "Mr Davis came in here and began to act like a female version of Ms Mabel. If not for Catori, I would have lost things that are dear to me to the hands of someone that I thought was my friend." Her boyfriend kept quiet. She went on. "If you have any sense, you will call her and apologize," she said. "Anyway, I have no time for this. I need to leave until you come back to your senses, old man." With that, she took her bag and left the room. Back at her hotel room hotel, Catori was thrashing around on the bed. Her body was in severe pain and she was growling involuntarily. "What the hell is going on?!" she screamed. Calm down, Catori, her wolf s

As they scurried around in an attempt to see, each one began to cough and scream for their poor eyes stung like they were being attacked by a swarm of bees. The addition of tear gas to that smoke screen was a wise decision, his wolf said as Alaric beat them up and collected the bunch of keys from the head guard. Indeed, it was, he replied. Luck was on his side. The bunch was a small one so it was not hard for him to find the particular rusty key to the big padlock. He opened it as quietly as he could and went in. Everywhere was in pitch darkness. How come this place is so quiet? Aren't there supposed to be guards in here as well? his wolf asked. I wonder about that as well, he replied. He took a look around the cold space but it was completely empty save for the equally empty cages that were littered around. Maybe they now keep the prison

Kasa was shocked but she did not obey him, instead, she held on tighter. "Kasa, we both know that after this display of affection, you will just go back to acting like I mean nothing to you so why don't you leave me alone then go back and make up your mind on what exactly you want to do?" he said. She came to his front and stood on tiptoes while putting her hands under his shirt. It did the trick, but halway. Valentino wanted to hold her as well but he knew that would only make his problem worse. With all the self control he could muster, he pushed her lightly away from him."We need to rest up. Tomorrow, we need to find our way out of here," he said as he went back to where Arthur was waiting for them. Kasa followed behind him with dejected steps. Valentino had never acted like this towards her before, even when she had been a complete bitch to him. She ran to him and looked into his eyes. "Babe…" she whispered.
