The journey she had started wasn’t easy, it wasn’t going to be and it was never be, she just tried to make it easy by trusting her God otherwise it was the hardest thing she had ever went through.  Wisdom was furious with her because of her stubbornness, but they apparently met in a mall in our of Candice’s good days, unexpectedly, out of the blue they found one another in each other’s toes.  Well, both of them were facing down busy with their big smart phones. They smiled on each other, actually the both did, it’s not like Candice started with the smiling thing no! it just automatically happened, one would tell that they had known each other for a very long time.  A tension followed after the smile, no one knew what to say, what to do or how to

It wasn’t the makeup that made her pretty, her skin was just natural itself, with no foundation or face makeup powder.  One wouldn’t say she had a life luggage from the way she dressed, walked, but from everything she never stopped thinking about the problems she had left home, it was always eating her up, it’s just that she never showed it to the world. At work, she was normal and perfect.  A part of her wanted to go back home and apologize but then she felt like she must wait a bit until she was strong enough to face them and stick up with the decision that she had made. She always went through with the day without any problem, until she got a call from a guy she didn’t know who insisted to see her the day after in the morning before she went to work. 

Just as she was typing her columns in the house, she felt cramps around her stomach, it was so painful in a way that nobody could understand.   She knelt down on the tiled floor, squeezing it, trying to ease the pain but it got worser. She didn't know who to call, or text, tried to reach for her phone which was on top of the coffee table until she succeeded.   Worse thing is it had a password and it took longer to unlock it since she was shaking.    She pulled up the phone to her ears and called her friends but their phones weren't picked up, and again she wanted to call Wisdom but later decided No! She can't.   She scrolled the contacts in her phone thrice then she remembered that she had someone's number,

“Wow!  My goodness you shouldn't have though, thank you so much, I can't thank you enough, but since am on lunch, we can eat together, well that's if you don't mind”.  “ Of course  I don't”.  They went to the nearest place where they could just sit.  ……………………………  All she ever wanted was to make a great impression to him, well, maybe a first great impression.  Candice liked the guy so great for her to go through all the trouble. She wasn’t a good cook, she knew that, she was a 4 out of 10 with average, so it wasn’t good at all”. 

“Well for me its waking up beside you and watch the sun rise on your face, to know that I can say ‘I love you in any given time or place’, I love you Candice, I know you may think am playing games right now maybe because we just started but it’s not about that, I loved you from the start”. She looked at him straight in his eyes for some time, with no smile but glasses in her eyes, and then hugged her like she wasn’t willing to let him go…  “I love you my man, I love you so much”, and she was crying. “I understand babe, but may you please promise that it will forever stay this way, please”.  He was looking at her with a sorry face, like a guy pleading
