After our usual morning Class, each group set out to work on their project. Liam and Damien were no where in sight. I had the fifty bucks given to our group by Mister Donald but there was nothing I could do with it. I felt sick. They really do hate me.I searched every corner of the school. Damien was at the roof, alone. He looked a little sad, he had some pebbles in his hands he was tickling. I knew how much he should not want to see me. I ruined his image in school, to make matters worse, I almost kill liam because of those pictures. I wished I understood how bad he felt. I heard he used to be good friends with Liam before i joined the school. I ruined everything. I can't apologise to them when all they do is avoid me like a plague. I didn't find Liam, I didn't wish to either. A part of me still blames him for posting that picture in the first place. He's mad at me, I am also! I really felt guilty when he fell down those steps. I spent two weeks of my life in guilts that

After so much argument with Andra, I finally had the guts to go talk to Damien. He sat on a concrete pavement on the roof. The cold breeze made my face numb. I have Andra's voice in my head, screaming "just give it a try"I stood at his back for minutes before I finally had the guts to speak."D...Damien."I stopped as he turned, his cold stare made me heart shudder."I... We..."I bit my lip."What you want?""Our team. Ain't we doing anything?"I saw him smile. That was heart-warming enough."We don't have a team unfortunately. You know I wonder why all these is happening at this crucial time of our lives."He paused. "It's just few months until we are out of this school." He paused."You did the wrong thing Paige.""I know. I swear I.." I swallowed. "I didn't mean to. I...""You don't need to explain anything. At least, not to me."He was walking away. I had to stop him."Wait!"He turned, arched a br

"Look girl, you can't make decisions for me. What the hell were you even thinking?!"I yelled at her.She was sober and somehow I felt a little regretful."I'm sorry. I didn't see it as a hard decision."She licked her lower purple lip. "You really need to go out. Have a little fun. I only...""I know. But I don't want to. I'm not going anywhere. You decieved Miss Roona."I climbed my bed."You should go Paige. If you want to restore back your image in this school, I mean...your school. I don't know what the full story is but I really think you need to win back the hearts of your classmates. Staying away from them won't help.""You don't know what you are saying. I don't care about my image. I don't care about anything!""But you are hurting yourself by staying here, tonight, every damn night. I see you Paige.""You see me. You don't even know me! ""I don't have to." She climbed up to me. "I know you're not okay. I know you hurt yourself. I saw

"What was that about huh?" Miss Roona questioned when she finally had the chance to. "What was that story about?""Anything, Miss Roona."Riley giggled."Teach', it was just a game, you won't punish us for that.""Of course I won't. It better not be what I'm thinking..."A guy with a bottle jumped into the circle. "Woohoo! It's time for the bottle game!"Everyone jeered. I saw miss Roona stand up to leave. "I'll leave you guys to do that.""C'mon teach', you should stay."Damien countered."I'm not a teenager. I'll go join the other guy teachers. You guys have fun!" She left. The noise died down and soon the bottle was spinning. At first it started with truths being revealed. I was glad it didn't get to me. A girl confessed her crush on her class president. Another confessed that he still peed in his bed sometimes. It as hilarious but no so hot until the dares started. Truth and dare games always go this way and since we wer

"Why are you packing up?" Andra asked. I haven't had the chance to tell her I was leaving. Besides, I felt sorry for her, I'm leaving her world so soon. Though, I had anticipated all these, I felt bad for her than myself."My uncle called. I'm leaving."I heard her gasp. "Why?""I don't know. There's a lot you don't know Andra." I zipped up my box, ready to leave. "I should go now. He's waiting outside.""You're leaving without your classmates. Why? I thought you had two months to stay here."" Hei, Andra. " I held her hands. "I'm leaving, that's it. ""Then why are you leaving. Is it me?"" No. I've only spent two weeks with you and I must say I've had better days. I'll not forget you Andra. I'll be back soon, I promise. "" You live with your uncle? What about your parents? "I bit my lip. " Gone. "" Oh" she moaned and embraced me. " I'd be so alone without you. "" Are you scared of being alone? "" You've asked me that

"I don't wanna see you dad. Please leave." I was in the hospital and my dad was standing at the door with a grin on his face."Don't say that My love."He said. "I brought you here because I still love you. I am your father. You mother have left you with me ever since you were six. I've done everything to keep you alive. Don't I deserve some respect?""Hey, don't try that again. You scared the hell out of me. I almost thought you were possessed. I know it's that's school. I should not have taken you there. ""Look, I'm not being wicked. If you look at these very carefully, you'll see that I'm only protecting you. I know I have a lot of enemies and I just can't trust you with anyone. Don't you understand?""Oh my! Get out of here dad."I said."I paid the bills for this place and I brought you here myself. You wrist was operated on some hours ago and paid for that also. You don't have any right to ask me out. I know boys are already getting into your head. I wo

"What do you think about Paige?""I think we can go on with this project without her. C'mon, she left three days ago."Liam answered. They were both seated on the roof of the school."That's not an appropriate answer.""I know. It's the truth. You're slowing us down. I know she's not coming back...""How did you..."Liam laughed. Damien looked horrible and in some way only Liam understood what his problem was. Since Paige left, he hasn't gotten enough sleep. As his roommate, Liam knows everything."You are not the only one who gets all the school's gist before others...""Who told you?""You, of course."He jeered. "I overheard your conversation with Miss Roon' on the phone.""Pf!" Damien playful punched him."C'mon guy, what's up with you huh? you're not the Damien I know anymore. She's gone, out of our school. Why are we still waiting?!"Damien hissed. "You never told her. About the pictures. Do you still h

I stayed indoors with Andra for the rest of the day. We were quiet most of the time and I felt like I was going to be alright. The next morning, I didn't attend any class. I could not bring myself to. Besides, I still felt sick, Andra had said I look so much pale. I didn't want to cause any more controversy about my looks. It was late afternoon when I heard a knock on the door and went to get it. It was Damien. I almost slammed the door back on his face. He was the last person I wanted to see. I felt miserable. The last time we talked he had warned me to stay away from him. He looked elegant as usual. His hair... I would learn to take my eyes off it. His eyes were unusually saggy but they only made him better. If only I could..."Hi Paige"He smiled."Hi"I expected him to say something, at least the reason he had knocked on my door but he just stood there, staring into me. I suddenly became self conscious. My hair is a mess, I look so sick, Andra sa

"Will you stop?!"I said. "I don't understand what you're saying.""I can't explain. Forget it."He started to move. I could not help but think. Did he just say he was worried?"You have to explain. You're spending the rest of the day with me. I have to understand every word you say.""You don't want to know.""I do."I murmured."Well... I just can't explain. You just think about it."I winced. "Do you know how annoying you are?!"He only smiled."First, you say I'm sick and then you acknowledge the way I walk, like you were watching me the whole time."I paused to catch my breath. "Then you say you're worried about me?! What the hell?!""What?"He questioned. I knew I was blabbering but I suddenly felt like I had no reason to be shy since we were deep in the woods. It's the only moment I have."It's weird. You're acting too weird!" I added."That's understandable. It should be."He said. "It's my first time alo

"We have to get back to school sooner. Hop on my back.""No, I'll manage."I had a brace on my knee and I limped. My dislocated limb was also bandaged. I couldn't walk well but I also can't picture him carrying me."You won't."He lifted me up himself and backed me. I felt weak."Hold on tight"He began to move. "First, I'll get you new glasses. So the eye clinic first. Then we go to school. We can't do all while you leap. ""You can get new glasses. My frame is expensive. Besides how did you pay the bills?"He flashed a golden card across my face. Wow! He's rich."How did you get that? You don't work.""I have it okay? Stop asking questions and rest.""Don't get new glasses. I'll ask my uncle to...""Hush, rest."When we got to the clinic, my frame was changed into the exact one that broken. I was awed when he paid. The frame worth half a million bucks. "You're rich?""Not really."He winced.
