I wanted to go to his house, but I couldn't. What would I say? That he saw a mistake? Or…I felt ashamed and there was no way I was going to be able to look on his face again. I felt guilty, I felt dirty and empty. Not only that, but I found my only comfort in sucking up the salty tears from my cheek. I finally made up my mind where to go, the church. I need to pray… To God. I walked into the empty church, a black tunic scarf around my hair and neck. The rain began while I was driving. I usually have them in my car, for situations like this. I knelt by the altar, my bible in hand, and cried.“Dear LordI'm sorry.I did something awful. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou might be justified when thou speak, and be clear when thou judge. I'm so scared…It's a sin yet I stayed. I enjoyed…No.I'm sorry….Please forgive me, Lord.My life, everything about me… I need you now more than ever. And I'm scared of your judgement.”I cried.“Create

He woke up a little earlier than usual. His night wasn't the best, his nights haven't been better anyway. He rushed to the bathroom, could not help but notice the dark circles around his eyes. He needed rest, being a billionaire hasn't been easy, but that wasn't the case. He hadn't had enough night rest. A girl got into his senses and he became this miserable. Oh my, Tristan… He whispered to himself. Since the day he saw her at the airport, things haven't been well with him. It was new to him. He has never been this emotionally attracted to anyone. He's had mistresses, but she was just the perfect definition of whom he wanted to be with. Her eyes, her smile, her scent, her voice, how easy it was to fall in love.He joined his parents at the dinning table.“How was your night, son?” His mother asked. She was always like that, always wanting to start a conversation, but his father, Master Tsee was more of the aristocratic type. Always serious.“Great mum. And yours?” He smiled.“Well.

First blink.Second blink.Third blink.Pupils dilate. Screams out of sleep.*I was in a strange room, stark naked beneath the fluffy white bed cloth. My head throbbed. The echoes of my scream only came back to me. Where the hell am I?!I sat up, trying to get a feel of where I was and how I got there. Of course, it wasn't my room. No, I should be at Damien's house. Unfortunately, my bed cover isn't white there too. And I do not sleep naked. I've never. Calm down, Paige. I was wheezing hard. There was a note on the bedside. A handwritten note. Beads of sweat trickled down my back. What is this?_Morning Babe,I would rather not wake you up. I'm off to work. Please make yourself comfortable. I love you, Paige. _I wheezed hard. Memories rushing back into my brain. I was on a date with Tristan! And I got myself drunk. Fuck! I cursed. I shouldn't have tried Brandy at all. I remembered I asked to go home, but I couldn't. He caught me when I was about to fall. We got so close, very close

I stayed indoors for the rest of the day and at night…We made a gigantic mess. I can't explain exactly what happened, but when my consciousness returned I was in a bathtub of chilly water and my head throbbed. It was already morning and I had caught a cold. Ria was still asleep when I woke up. I took my bath and prepared for the day's work. I had many plans. I needed to see Damien. Of course, he mustbhave guessed that I was at my house, but… It's just not fair enough.I opened the refrigerator in the kitchen to get a drink and realized our brandy remained. I drank three last night, she forced me. Apparently, she cheated. I was about to hiss when I felt a soft tickled on my waist, then a familiar warm embrace. Ria.“You're finally awake.” I mumbled.“That's because I spent the entire night watching you.” She said, “Watching me? And you left me in that cold? How heartless!” I sneezed in her face. She laughed. “That was the only remedy I knew. I mean… The only one I could give you, dar

“You said the operation was successful. Why isn't she up by now? Did you make a mistake that you're trying to hide? What the hell is wrong? Wake my niece up right now?!” I heard muffled up voices. I was lost in this dark abyss of voidness. Even there, I could tell who the voice belonged to, and I knew he was shouting.“Calm down, Master Kam, we didn't make any mistakes. She is fine, but…” He trailed off.“But what? She has been like this for days!”“We lost her womb in the process. She had a hemorrhage. It's not her first surgery, that caused many complications. I warned against that before we went on with the surgery.”“ And I gave my permission. Well, she must wake up!” I heard angry footsteps and another footstep. I was alone again. Light slowly invaded the space in my little world and I came back to life. But not real life.I would call it a dream or an illusion. I saw Damien by my bedside. He had tears in his eyes and he looked super worried. “You're awake, Finally!” He shrieked
