It had been a few days since Annie had been found and taken back, still she was in and out of sleep. Annie hadn't said much to anyone, she seemed so scared of them at times. "I want to go home," Annie said, sitting down in Alexander's office chair. Alexander looks up from his computer screen which had previously been captivating his attention. As Alexander studied Annie's still bruised face that still punched his heart. He couldn't help but feel that he had failed her. He had let Annie go free, only for her to immediately been captured again once again. Alexander knew that he seemed weaker to his rivals, but his relationship with Annie was now going to be used against him. Annie and Rebecca were spending one final night in their flat together. They had spent a week packing up Annie's belongings and moving them to Alexander's house. Rebecca had been watching a connection form between the two of them, she knew it was only a matter of time before they became a couple. Really she was routing for them, but she would miss having Annie around the flat. The two would have girls nights every night before now. The next morning Annie and Rebecca took their time getting ready together. They took the time together to relish in their old routine, something they would never have the time for before. Rebecca had taken the day off work, not to spend time with Annie, although it was at least partly for her best friend. Instead Rebecca had plans for her day. After her talk with Annie the previous night, she had finally come to a decision about Cindy. She was finally going to confess her feelings. Part of her still feared that Cindy wouldn't feel the same way, but that was a reality she was prepared for. "Don't you have work soon?" Annie asked as she lesurely put her suger in her coffee. Kaylee knocked on Alexander's office door, she waited until she heard her invitation to come in. While she was waiting she took deep breaths, becoming more focused. Alexander was proving hard to manipulate, Kaylee wasn't sure why she was surpised, but she knew one day she would break him. "Come in!" Alexander called, Kaylee smiled as she opened the door and sat down in the chair oposite him. It was the exact same seat as Annie had sat in just the week before when Kaylee had been listening in on their conversation. Ever since she's bee watching people move Annie's stuff in with Alexander. Kaylee hated that Annie was moving in, it meant she would be closer to Alexander. Annie had left Alexander's office feeling utterly mortified. She couldn't believe she was about to confess her feelings for him in front of someone ese. Annie and Kaylee had been introduced but they hadn't spent any time together yet. Annie had just been too busy and Kaylee had been avoiding Annie so far. "You wanted to talk to me earlier?" Alexander asked as he slowly sat next to Annie on the sofa. Annie jumped a little and paused her show to look at him. She wasn't sure what to say now, Kaylee had made her rethink a lot of things. While she suspected it wasn't Kaylee's intention to discourage Annie from confessing her feelings to Alexander, she couldn't help but think over all the points Kaylee had made. Annie's worst nightmare would be jumping into something that neither of them were ready for. She wanted a way that they could take things slowly, but she doubted there would be a slow with Alexander. The next morning Annie woke up back in her own bed, she smiled at the thoughts of the night before. She felt so much for Alexander and she was glad to see some development between the two. As she sat in her bed, comforted by her blankets, she thought back to that first night she had met Alexander. He had been such a sweet boy. Everything between them had felt so natural, just as it had last night. She always thought that should be how love is, innocently natural. Alexander drove for over an hour to get to a relitively unknown location. Alexander had been getting calls from a strange, unknown number all day, it had been happening for a couple of days now. Alexander had finally had enough of it an answered the call, whoever was on the other line clearly used a voice changer and had given him just one location and the instruction to come alone. Alexander couldn't explain why, but he felt compelled to go. With everything that had just happening with Xavier Alexander refused to take any chances.
