Writer's povChadwick stood by the side watching his partner knock repeatedly on the door. He knew just from looking at the house that the owner was not available, but he didn't tell Aaron anything before he thought of him as a freak. Not that he wasn't already considered a freak at the precinct. He sighed."I don't think he's home." Aaron said as he turned to face Chadwick. Chadwick had to hold himself from responding with sarcasm. He had been told by many, not one, that people didn't like him because of the way he responded to people. He tried for a while at his old station to change that character flaw, but he just couldn't bridle his tongue. He sighed inwardly as he thought of how shallow his life was. He looked at Aaron who had gone to the other side of the house to look for whatever he was looking for. He knew without a doubt that girls loved Aaron. They all, even the men, saw him as a nice and cool guy. Everyone wanted to be seen with him and

Writer's povMark had finished brushing his teeth, when Diana came Into the room. He couldn't see her from his position in front of the wash hand basin but he knew, just like he knew he back of his hands that she was taking off her clothes. He wiped his face on the towel and went of the toilet with nothing but a towel wrapped around his hips. He stood still, waiting for her to notice him but she didn't look up as she mechanically removed her clothes. He studied her, his eyes finally seeing her that day, and he realized that she must have been in a such a hurry to rush down to the hospital because she had dressed in sweatpants and a long grey blouse. He had been so into it that he hadn't seen that his wife wasn't looking like his wife till that time. He felt shame heat his face. "Cherry is asleep, told her that you would check in on her before you slept, and I gave Dulce and Philip everything they might need to feel comfortable. Dulce is smaller than

HunterThe coolness of the water as it cascaded down my back was enough to make me feel a little bit better. I spread my palm on the tiled wall, closing my eyes as I inhaled the scent from the candle I lighted. An image of someone in black, whose face I didn't see the day I went to see Veronica at work, came to me. I also remembered the day I got hit from behind, before the car speed away. I tried my best to check if it was the same car but I couldn't remember since both incident happened at night. But the coincidence was that it happened around Veronica. Who could be following her and for what reason... I pondered. I tried and failed to erase the fear that gripped my heart as I imagined something bad happening to her. My proposal for her to move in with me might have seemed sudden to her, but it wasn't to him. Ever since she began staying the night, he had loved and gotten used to the feeling of having someone to sleep with and wake up with. He loved being able

Writer's povMark had to quickly rush down the stairs after his daughter barged into his room, yelling him awake to tell him two men were fighting in their house. He had been seriously tired he hadn't even noticed the sun that was already high in th sky, with his rays dancing through the open window into the room. He prided himself in waking up super early but the events from the last forty eight hours had been something else. He had just got to the corridor, when his wife's loud yell after a loud crashing sound, made him break into a run."WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!" he shouted at the top of his voice, looking at the two men who had each other's clothes squeezed in their hands, but had their eyes on his wife. He turned and found his wife standing still, her eyes wide open as she looked at something he couldn't see from his place on the stairs."They broke my vase! They broke my vase!" She yelled before walking towards the pieces, moving gingerly so she wouldn't step

Bainbridge islandBetty cradled the mug of hot tea she had in her hands as she watched Leon and Kelly on the deck, talking and laughing like they were old friends. She smiled, happy Kelly finally allowed herself to have a friend that wasn't someone in the family. She wondered if her daughter, Veronica, would have gotten along with her. She cringed when she remembered agreeing to adopt Kelly's child when it was born, shaking her head as she thought of how stupid she must have been to have decided to do that. She felt her mother before she walked into the room, clearing her throat as she came in. Betty didn't look back, but she did say a morning greeting to her, not wanting to be rude."That young man is a keeper, reminds me of Jameson." Lucinda said, watching her daughter instead of the two outside."Hmm." Was Betty's reply to her mother. Lucinda felt pained when her daughter didn't turn to speak to her, but she had made up her mind tha
