LEYLA'S POV:-   I walked towards one of the walls of the cave. I touched the wall and it felt like sparks if electricity started running through my veins. The very next moment, it felt like I was engulfed in the middle of the black hole. Everything went dark for a few moments and I felt like falling from the sky. When I hit the ground, I couldn't move at all. It was like I was pinned to the ground. I tried with all my might but I couldn't even move a finger. Everything was still dark. But after a few moments, I started seeing lights. It was the same cave that angel Gabriel showed to me. But I couldn't see angel Gabriel anywhere near me.   In a few minutes, the lights that were inside the walls started cracking the walls. I tried to get up as I felt the ground beneath me shaking. I was worried that I would be buried under that cave. It felt like an earthquake. My eyes widened a

LEYLA'S POV:-   He was telling me my own past like he was telling me a story. And as if I was a child, I was listening to his story while staring into his eyes. He didn't let me pull away from himself. His arms were wrapped around me protectively. "So that means the Spiritual women were never born with the ribs of their men. They were simply rewarded for being obedient till the end. Even when their fortunate lives turned into an actual night terror. This sounds so dreamy. I wish I could ever be that loyal and obedient to the cause. Instead of being away from my path." I spoke in a low tone while staring into his eyes. I forced a small smile on my face while speaking to him.   I couldn't help but think that my biological parents would be disappointed in me if they ever learned what I had been doing all this long. "And who told you that you are not loyal or obedien

LEYLA'S POV:-   With a loud gasp, I sat up straight on the bed. I was gasping for air. That woke Angel Gabriel up too. He wrapped one of his arms around my shoulders. That made me turn my face to look at him. "Are you alright? You look like you were sucked into the black hole for a while. Did something happen? Did you have a nightmare?" He asked me in a concerned tone as he rubbed my arm to help me calm down. As always, there was a glass of water set on the bedside table. I just held my hand and the glass came flying towards me. I caught it before it would have hit me or the water would have spilled all over the bed.   I drank the whole thing in one go. Breathing heavily, I turned my head to look at him. "It was not a nightmare. It sure looked like one. But it was something else. Something just made Lucifer lose his shit. He came to threaten me. For

KURT'S POV:-   I was also relieved with the fact that I didn't have to do all the work all alone to prove myself. There was someone who was sent to help me specially. "Don't be bothered. It is just to keep a closer eye on the guardians. So I know what they have been doing. And inform Angel Gabriel that everything is going according to his predictions. And he predicted you to be the Alpha of the guardians. Not a helpless woman who needed the whole pack behind her to defeat a low like werelion." He answered the few doubts I had inside my head. I was not even sure whom she fought with. And what happened to this kingdom they were all talking about.    Angel Raguel especially couldn't stop talking about Leyla's brave act and her amazing fighting skills. Who knew it was all against a creature that was known to be a low life. "I would appreciate your help in the mo

KURT'S POV:-    I went back downstairs and looked around. The rest of the team that was left with me was already waiting for me there. I smirked and walked towards them. "Get ready. We are going to rescue the rest of the humans the Beta and her team couldn't rescue. I know where they are and where we need to go." I spoke to them in a low tone. All three of them exchanged looks with each other. As if they were thinking about something. They had this worried look on their faces. It made me frown. I was expecting them to be as excited as I was to show the others their real place. But they looked like they would suddenly be very worried about something.    "But, Alpha. Don't we have to wait for Beta Leyla? I mean… Angel Raguel was very clear when he ordered us to follow her lead while in war. Shouldn't we have to wait for her? According to th
