As soon as I give him the go ahead, Dante rushes over to check on me and even Hazel. He has heard me speak of her often enough to know that she means something to me. I create another bed for her in one of the spare rooms so that she can sleep up here and away from everyone for a couple of nights. Even though the Council members were quiet during breakfast, there is no way that it could last all day. I am honestly a little shocked when we finish breakfast and nobody has said a word. What could be keeping them so quiet? I know that they have plenty to say.I do not have to wait long to hear them start bringing up last night though. I avoid Elle for most of the day after dealing with the Council. I can feel her eyes on me while I work with some of the novices on plans for next weekend's dance. After all of the drama with the Council and Hazel we decided to give it another week. Since we have decided to have some of the Full Witches do the dance with the Novices, it only makes sense that Elle and Rosa joins us for practice this one time. For now, they are under the impression that they are the only ones joining the dance. It will stay that way until the last second.
