The big day is finally here. It is the day that 4 of our novices move up in their training. Today I am going to shake things up even more. With the Coven and the Witch Council. The time has finally arrived, I have gathered the girls to make our way down to the clearing. The Hybrid Council is already there, as is the Witch Council. Now, I just have to get the guests of honor down there. The entire pathway is lined with the rest of the Coven's witches. They are here to celebrate these four and their journey on. As the four look around, I see them smile happily at the rest of the Coven. They have been trained in combat for so long that it took a while for them to be able to open up like this. Now, they have peaceful expressions as we begin our slow walk to the clearing. They have strict instructions that they are not to say anything until after the dance is over. After we get done with the dance everybody heads to the lake to celebrate our newest Advanced witches. Well, our first ever Advanced witches actually. There have been a lot of firsts since I got here and I plan for there to be many more as well.At the lake, we have food and drinks set up at the tables. We left an open invitation for the werewolves all to come but I highly doubt that any are going to show up at this point. They either need some space after yesterday or are too worried to come without backup. Still, I would not be surprised if Connor were to show up.Dante has decided to stay for the celebration with me. The next week, I decide to turn my focus back to getting some of the teenage werewolves ready for a weekend on their own in the woods. With all of the drama that happened after the last time we tried it, I have not tried it again. This time, I am going to have to keep a closer eye on everyone that is staying on their own for the weekend.This group is actually made up of all females. It is time for the teenage girls to try their hands at surviving a weekend on their own in the woods. They all seem a little nervous but nowhere near as nervous as their parents are to have their girls out on their own. I have done everything that I can to assure them that their girls are safe but I had to be careful not to give away too much information about the weekend. I write their campsites on popsicle sticks for them to draw which place they are going to be staying at. As they each pick their respective campsites, I can see one girl's parent's face pale. She must have gotten the one that has the highest difficulty rating. Considering how much better the girls had listened than the boys, I have full faith that they will do just fine. I have no doubts that she will have an issue finding water either. In each lesson she stood out as a shining example of what to remember.
