Catherine's POV: Damien came knocking on my door the next moment, and I was glad I locked it before I jumped on the bed to punish myself. "Catherine, open the door princess. You didn't even let me finish." Damien called out my name but I rolled my eyes, grunting in annoyance and grabbed two pillows that were the closest to me then covered my ears. "Go away. I never want to see you again. We're done." I said, trying my best to make it sound like I really meant it. Damn, why am I acting in such a childish way? I've never been like this before. But then again, what does it matter? Damien had really betrayed me, and our bond, and our baby. Even if she did drug him with whatever chemical she made him eat or drink, I believe in Damien's capability to resist temptations, knowing he always mentioned he graduated valedictorian in the course of commitment and loyalty.   Catherine's POV:   It was as though time traveled fast, faster than I wanted it to be.     The next thing we knew the next moon came, and my baby bump wasn't a little bump anymore but a growing one.     I caressed my belly gently, smiling and sighing in sweet relief now that I'm about to be wed to my destined mate. Damien Ranskahov of the Blood Moon Pack, deemed Alpha of all Alphas. I laughed smugly to myself. Who would've thought, huh?   Catherine the slave, Catherine the weak, Catherine the nobody would even get to be at this point, becoming the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack? The strongest pack there is in the whole of the United States.  

 Malcolm's POV:I groan as I stare blankly at the papers that has been lying on my desk for almost an hour. Even until now we weren't having much progress in our experiments. We were getting no where with this. Sighing, I put away the papers and brought my phone out of my pocket. I dialed Xavier's number, my assistant. I sent him with several others of my men to see if they can spot some werewolves in the far south. It has been a week. He hasn't given me his report that I was expecting him to supposedly after three days. From the looks of it, they're probably gonna stay there for two whole months before they find anything useful in the area.  After the third ring, he picked up the call. "What's up, Malcolm?" Xavier's tired voice had sliced through the phone.  

DAMIEN'S POV: Samantha's finger brushed on the trigger as a smirk formed on her face, looking at me in disdain and with resentment evident in those eyes, I could tell she didn't really want to kill me. There used to be love and adoration reflecting in those eyes. Now all I saw was pain, betrayal, and revenge. 'Talk to her. She's just heartbroken. I think.' Hercules said to me. 'Look at her, Hercules. She's obviously gone mad. She blinded herself with her own rage. She probably won't hear anything I say. Besides, there's no point shifting now.' I tell him as I fixed my eyes on hers and that ominous aura that circumvallated us. Hercules let out a frustrated sigh. 'Catherine is in danger. Our pup is in danger. The whole pack is in danger. You HAVE to talk to her.' He pointed out.

CATHERINE'S POV My breathing was heavy. I felt my eyes darken as Midnight clawed in my mind, begging me to let her out. She wanted to rip that woman's throat apart, her body into pieces. She wants to see her eyes lose their light, her breath vanish into thin air. I growl thunderously, and it startled every one of them like they haven't heard me growl before. My eyes turned dark, unable to speak, unable to move, unable to clear my mind as I saw black fog completely cloud my eyes. I felt my claws extending, and despite feeling the slight pain from my labor I didn't give a damn. Small warm hands suddenly gripped my thigh. I looked down at the small creature I couldn't make out quite well in front of me, growling fiercely. I can feel how my body shook uncontrollably and I didn't know what else to do. Raya pushed the dark mist clouding my mind down in the darkness inside of me, as if forcefully and Midnight snarls. She was the monster in me I didn't know
