“What is up with you and Luke? You guys are not talking to each other for a while!” Being his straight forward self. Liam asked the question without showing a hint of hesitation.“Is it that obvious?” asked Elena with eyes as wide as moon.“Well, it becomes obvious when you start avoiding each other after marking. I observed that you don’t even look one another in the eyes these days. You just stare at each other when other is not looking, how pathetic!” replied Liam nonchalantly.‘Luke was looking at me? Such a cutie!’ thought Elena blushing.“Stop blushing, El! I am still standing here” Liam uttered with an eye roll.“You notice everything?” asked Elena in surprise. She was trying really hard to hide her overly shy state but her cheeks were burning by the thought of Luke peeking at her.“Of course. Now stop changing the topic. What happened between you two?” asked Liam with suspicious gazes.“Well, we got into a fight. I was all my fault. I hurt him the worst way possible. I don’t k

“Oh yes. I have to reject you. You might not be strong enough to reject your mate or it must be difficult for you just as it is for me.” Said Jace, knowing how emotional girls become when they have to reject their mates.‘Oh God, he has audacity to say that even after seeing my guy? Me? Having hard time rejecting this blockhead? My Nick is million times better than him in both looks and personality!’ thought Lily with an eye roll.“Jace Willow, I, Lily Williams reject you as my mate” Lily said in a robotic tone. They both felt an immense pain in their heart. The pain of breaking the soulmate bond was unbearable like they have studied during lectures of werewolvism. It’s like someone is cutting and removing a part of your soul. They closed their eyes to go through the intense pain. It was like their heart was mourning for the loss of their supposed other half. Lily held her chest while Jace held his knee to keep themselves from falling. They opened their eyes and looked in each other’s

“She found her mate today” Nick replied, gritting his teeth. The information was enough to draw expressions on Luke’s always emotionless face.“WHAT?” asked Luke in astonishment.“You heard me right. She just told me. She was crying. She must be guilty that she finally found her mate and now she is supposed to break up with me after promising me that she will never leave my side” said Nick, increasing the speed of the car and gripping the steering wheel in anger.“Oh, My! That is horrible! Do you want me to settle things?” asked Luke in a serious tone.“How are you going to settle things between two mates?” asked Nick, raising his left eyebrow in suspicion.“I will kill the b*stard! What else? Lily will again be left with no mate. You will get your girl. Both of you will get married, have children, name your boy Luke after me and live happily ever after. What do you think about my plan?” asked Luke with a wide smile.Nick is one of his people in front of whom he shows his true playful

“Looks like this vulgar gemstone isn’t going to listen until I beat her to pulp!” She exclaimed in fury while opening the door. The anger on her face instantly disappeared and her eyes widened, when she saw Nick standing in front of her.“Nick”She felt her heart hammering against her chest when their eyes met. All she wanted to do was hug him tightly and cry her heart out but she didn’t. She was not going to make a fool of herself all over again. She composed herself and kept her face straight and devoid of any emotions before talking,“Didn’t you go to Crystal Storm with others? What are you..?” Before Lily could complete her sentence, Nick immediately wrapped his hands around her and pulled her towards his chest.“Are you okay?” asked Nick worriedly. Her paining heart started to heal the moment her head rested on his chest. He tightened his grip around her waist. She could hear the soothing sound of his heartbeat. Her knees started to feel weak. Her arms were automatically moving u

“Are you going to tease me for being inexperienced again?” asked Nick in an appealing voice.“Never” said Lily who was still catching up her breath after having the best s*x of her life.He moved towards her and kissed her lips gently for a minute before keeping her head on his chest and the darkness took over.Meanwhile,Elena and Topaz were dead worried about Lily. Topaz brought a glass of warm milk and Elena brought her favorite chocolates with a lot of dry fruits. They met near Lily’s room and was about to knock on her door when they heard a little noise.“Ahh!” came Lily’s painful voice.“Is she hurting? Do you feel that much pain after rejecting your mate?” asked Topaz in a concerned tone.“I don’t know I have never been rejected” said Elena worriedly.“Me neither. What should we do?” asked Topaz almost crying after hearing the sounds of her painful voices for a few more time.“I hope she is okay. They never mentioned you feel the pain whole night” Elena said biting her lower li
