CHAPTER NINETEEN
I could still hear myself screaming even after we stopped. Elliot rolled his eyes and placed his hands over my mouth then kissed my neck. That cooled me down."Easy, didn't you say you were ready?""That's not funny."My heart was beating hard. I was sure Elliot could hear it but he said nothing. I realized why when I looked towards the underwater city. It was breathtaking. Colorful fishes ruled the waters and stone made roads indicated the paths. The houses were nothing like ours. They were short and of different unwordly colors. Their windows were just child-made holes in senseless areas of the buildings. The houses were small but because they lived underground too, there was no need to build tall buildings like ours. The doors were made of different things, nets, coral bars, strings of beads and pearls, the weakest rotten wood... The shops and stalls looked like they were designed by children. I wanted to call the place a village until we reache

CHAPTER TWENTY
Lena's POV "And how do you suppose we do that?" I asked, raising a brow. He smiled, guessing I was too innocent for his ways of doing things. That was just what he thought. "Easy." He snapped his fingers. The mergirl startled awake. She started to itch her body, screaming in pain. Her skin started to turn red and I was full of horror. "Elliot, what did you do?!" I couldn't stand to see someone so innocent in undeserving pain. "Wait a second." "Don't te'll me to wait! Stop this now!" In a matter of seconds the redness of her skin dissapeared and the itching stopped. "It was a ten-second flea spell. She's fine now." "We could have just poured waste on her face." He laughed. "Looks like you've forgotten where we are." 'Oh,' I thought when I remembered that we were in the ocean itself. She rubbed her eyes and surveyed her surroudings. The mergirl's beauty was unexplainable, just like

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE
Lexa's head swiftly turned when she heard a creeking sound of the door. They were back in the giant mansion, Elliot thought it was the best place to be even though that would be Liam's first guess but either way, it was impossible to hide from an angel. They always manage to find you if there's light while God sees both in dark and light. If God knows something, so do the angels so..."Is he..."Elliot said for the nineteenth time. For a devil he was patient with her. "Relax, even if he is I'm here." Elliot's calming words did not help her. He looked down to her untouched plate of luxury pizza personally made by Nina Selimaj. "You won't eat?"She came out of her thoughts and looked down to the delicious pizza covered with white creme fraiche and lobster tails."I don't feel like it.""That dish is worth a thousand, you'd need a year's savings to afford it."She frowned. "I wasn't that underprivileged."'There's no use ar

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO
I shook out of the memory and tried to regain consciousness of the environment I was in. "Liam?" Liam smiled as if he had won. "Yes, it's me. I was sent to comfort you in your trying times." He had the bravery to take another step but Elliot wouldn't let him go past that. "And you left?" Elliot was obviously confused about our conversation, hoping I wasn't hypnotized cause I acted like one. He wasn't taking any chances of letting me go towards him. "I was called from above. Every angel has to obey the call." He walked closer to us. "Stay back, Liam. I'm warning you," Elliot growled. Liam looked at me. "This is your last chance Alexandra, come to me." "And what makes you think I will? I will never go with you!" Those last words rang a bell in Liam's head. He tightened his fists. "I was afraid you'd say that." Liam ran towards Elliot to give him a blow but Elliot and Lexa teleported from the mansion to a l

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE
Elliot's POV Lot slowly circled Liam, with the tongue in his hand, waiting for the first strike from him. Lot always did that. Liam was also playing safe and waiting for me to act. Since demons weren't nearly as patient as angels, especially not Lot, he attacked. Lot sped and pounced on Liam. His mouth watered as he tried to use the weapon to remove Liam's eyeballs but Liam used his strength to push him backward as he jumped back on his feet. Liam ran to Lot as two swords magically appeared in his hands. He pierced the swords through Lot's skin. Since Lot had no emotions he could not feel the pain but I was. I could feel my heart pumping out of my chest and my ribcage breaking. Lot grabbed the swords from the sharp sides and broke them. I looked at my hands as blood spilled from them. This was the problem with Lot, because he couldn't feel a thing he would cause excessive damage to me. Lot grabbed Liam by the shoulders, piercing his claws into

CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
Lexa's POV I had a terrible feeling about staying outside. It felt as if every evil spirit in there was watching me. I had no control over my magical powers and Elliot wasn't by my side, as much as I wanted him to be. I felt like a naked girl in the middle of Timesquare. I needed somewhere to hide. I looked around me and found nothing. The trees weren't going to be of much help. I was afraid of walking into the darker part of the forest, especially when I was an angel, but it was the only choice I had. I left the ruins of the cottage and the spot Elvador once sat and went towards the inner part of the forest. It was darker, eerie and more concentrated with evil spirits. I could hear their cries and feel the pain of many lost unsettled lives. I had a feeling that once I entered, there was no coming out. I took my chances and pushed my way through the thick barks of the trees. My goal was to find somewhere safe and not too open for anyon

CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
"The reasons your eyes sparkle just like a light is being shined, on two emeralds that are beautiful, is that you are the true meaning of love and beauty. I will be longing for that gentle touch, and that your warm embrace. If you are near me, I yearn for the hug, I am longing for that everlasting kiss when you lay next to me. Your personality is unable to be matched. These are the reasons you are perfect, and have been perfect. I will never stop loving you. The easiest thing I have ever done, is listening to your singing heart. A song was heard by my ears, my eyes sang along. The words were muttered by my lips, cuddled in your arms, I heard the whispering of charms." Alexa turned around. Her bright white angel glow decreased reasonably. "It took me hundred years Alexa but I memorized this poem just for you. Waiting for the right time." Alexa's eyes turned from golden to her normal eye colour. Liam stepped in front of Alexa and glared at him. "It is done. You cannot
