Chapter 61

Amelia's p.o.vI sat on a street bench with my arms wrapped around my body. The roads were dark and only a few people were passing by because it was late at night.I was starving, feeling cold, and very tired. When I had agreed to go through with Aurora's plan I didn't sign up to be homeless in human territory! It was the worst yet she still kept on insisting that it was for the greater good of our pack.Damn her. I thought we were going to run far away and live okay, not as beggars."Are you stupid? For us to have food, clothes, and water we need money. I can make it on my own but you can't, that's why I am thinking thoroughly about what our next move should be, for now, let's be happy beggars." She answered.I rolled my eyes and pulled the damn coat I had on tighter. Although I had arrived a few hours ago I couldn't find something to eat."So where should we get everything?" I asked sarcastically."We need to find a job tomorrow." She answered, upsetting me."Was this really your g

Amelia's p.o.vImmediately the car was parked in front of the pack house, Neo and Toni got out and walked in."Ian, listen," I whispered. He opened the door and walked out without shutting it. I quickly came out and followed him behind as he walked into the pack house."Please let me explain everything to you," I said loudly when he reached his room.He turned and faced me seriously."I don't want to hear you talk or say a damn thing. For now, what I need is to be left alone so I can think clearly." He answered then turned back and opened the door walking in.I quickly walked in too and closed the door behind me. I wasn't going to leave his side no matter what, he needed to hear me out and understand everything."I truly didn't mean to hurt you this badly. You see, it was all because of ...."I was grabbed by the hand and pushed on the bed roughly as I fell down bouncing a bit."You really love it when I lose it don't you?" He asked in a deeper voice. His eyes were red and his growl w

Ian's p.o.v"Alpha please." She whispered pleadingly as I cummed in her for the sixth time and this time knotted her. I didn't want to but I couldn't stop myself. I just couldn't help myself. After her leaving me behind for what felt like forever, I went crazy in search of her. There and then my feelings and Axel's became clear. To never go through that shit again we were going to knot her and make her bear our pup. Either she wanted it or not."I can't pull out right now because I have knotted you," I answered honestly then leaned in and kissed her lips tenderly. She looked at me in shock but sighed softly and wrapped her arms around my shoulders responding to my kiss."I guess this is all my fault plus I am willing to carry your pup. Not because I am obliged to, but because I want to." She answered through our mind link, surprising me.I touched her cheeks gently then moved my hand to her neck where I had marked her."Do you really mean it?" I asked softly. She sighed softly and chu

Amelia's p.o.vI woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested. I was about to turn when I felt a hand around my waist pull me back."Sleep a little bit more," Ian whispered behind me as beautiful tingles spread throughout my entire body that made me relax.A smile formed across my face as yesterday's memories flooded my mind. My cheeks were heating up and his arms felt warm.A kiss on my shoulder made me turn and face him."Afternoon." He whispered softly then leaned in and kissed my lips lightly then pulled back."Afternoon?" I asked in a hoarse voice."Yes, you slept through the night and morning. I guess I overdid it and wore you out, I'm sorry." He answered then sat upright.I moved my hand to my mouth and laughed softly. Was he worried about me!. Was Ian seriously worried about me that he even had to apologize!. This was the best feeling ever."Handsome." Aurora purred happily. She had been quiet since we came back and I thought she wanted to stay that way, but no

Chapter 65

Ian's p.o.vI was exhausted and lay down on my stomach first. My back was paining from the nail scratches Axel had received from Aurora. To say their sex was aggressive was an understatement, they were unbelievable!I couldn't believe how he had her on fours with his hand pulling her hair roughly while he fucked her. I was rough too but not with my mate. He gave her no time to breathe because after cumming he forced her on top of him and had her ride me. As much as she was tired, she couldn't stop.He even took it in the shower fucking her against the wall. I had to retreat when he took it on the floor and the desk raw, watching it made me want to call on Amelia and have her in that very way, but I understand that her body was definitely beyond exhausted. Were they that horny while they acted as if they were calm? Damn them."Ian," Amelia called beside me. She had bite marks all over her body and cum covering her stomach and thighs."Yes, baby." I answered softly."I am very exhauste

Chapter 66

Amelia's p.o.vI woke up still feeling very exhausted and sore. I sat upright and winced in pain."Damn it Aurora, did you really have to go that hard with Axel?" I asked her silently."Of course. How are we to carry their pup if we don't have them knot us as much as they can?" She asked back happily as I sighed loudly. She really was living in the moment that she was forgetting our worst fear."You have a point Aurora, but did you think things through seriously? We haven't told our mate about the alpha king who desperately wants to make us his bride, and us getting pregnant right now will only be a burden to Ian and everyone. How could we defend ourselves from that old bastard if we were heavy with a pup?" I asked sadly while I stood up."Remember why we ran away from the man we truly love with our whole heart. That old bastard is definitely stronger than us and we can't involve our mate into this, yes I want to carry his pup because it's my joy as his mate, but I'

Chapter 67

Ian's p.o.vAfter having lunch with Amelia, I went to my office and sat down to think through everything. My hands were tied when it came to the Alpha king and she looked so worried about everything.I had said those words to calm her down and I did mean it when I said I would die for her because I was ready to lay down my life. What I feared was the fact that the bastard who was coming after her was of royal blood, which meant he had a lot of experience, skills, and an army. If Aurora would easily overpower my whole pack by just standing her ground as an alpha queen, then the bastard was a way stronger threat to my people. He would wipe us out completely. That alone made me anxious. I needed to find a way to defeat the bastard or kill him."How about seeking advice from Felix and her family?" Axel asked seriously."What!" I exclaimed."You heard me. Seek advice from her." He answered in nearly a loud growl."You don't mean advice, you mean help, don't you?" I asked."I don't care w

Chapter 68

Felix's p.o.v"What's up with you?" Jeannie asked seriously.I glared at her then walked past her angrily. She quickly rushed to where I was and grabbed my hand."Felix, I am talking to you!" She exclaimed loudly."What!" I spat when I turned and faced her."What the hell is wrong with you? Since yesterday you have been acting up. Are you fighting with Chase?" She asked as I glared at her."What the hell, does everything revolve around him?" I asked back seriously. "Not really, it doesn't. But you do show him care that you show no one." She answered as I sighed in defeat. She wasn't wrong with that, but that didn't mean he and I were all lovey-dovey. Since that talk we had at Ian's pack I thought everything would change between us but it didn't. I would feed from him as usual then ask him to leave hoping he would put up a fight, but the asshole just smiled and excused himself. I was already fucking pissed and agitated by the damn situation. As if that bullshit wasn't enough, I had t

Chapter 69

Amelia's p.o.vI glanced at Toni a few times while eating, then at Nana who was smiling at me. Ian was quietly eating and he looked very calm sitting next to Neo who was drinking whiskey without touching his food. The atmosphere in the room wasn't bad, but for some reason, it wasn't good either."Should I talk to them?" I asked Aurora silently."Don't bother." Ian answered through our mind link.I quickly looked at him with a frown.I still wasn't used to him hearing everything I was thinking about openly, that's why he easily found out about the alpha king."Why?. It feels awkward eating in silence." I said through our mind link.He looked at me then carefully put his fork beside his plate."Brother." He called softly then turned and looked at Neo who raised his head and looked back at him."Have you decided what we should do with your rejected mate Sherry?" He asked seriously as Neo's expression turned cold for a second before he looked at Toni with a pleading ex

Chapter 70

Neo's p.o.vI stood staring at my mate again in silence. I didn't know what to say or how to act around her. She wasn't the first mate I had ever been blessed with by the moon goddess yet it all felt new.I was upset with Ian a few minutes ago because of how he wanted to make her uncomfortable. If I was to stay and entertain his crap he would have targeted her even more. But then he was who I ought to thank, because of him I couldn't just let my mate see me as some guy who couldn't defend or try to comfort her."I'm so sorry," I said softly then cleared my throat and sat down on the table grabbing my fork."Ian may be cold at times and very rude, but that doesn't mean he is a bad person." I said without looking at her.I was about to eat when I heard her sniff. She was in tears even before I had walked back into the room, I could smell it yet I had to pretend that I knew nothing.I was happy to have a second chance mate, to be honest. But as joyous as I was, I was very afraid of givin
