RUBY’S POVRuby stared at herself on the full length mirror, for the umpteenth time that evening.Dressed in a shimmering long sleeved gown, and simple accessories that highlighted her brown blonde hair, she looked stunning. Her curves fitted the attire nicely, and it was safe to say that she looked so beautiful. Undoubtedly gorgeous, and she snickered softly.Still giggling, Ruby leaned forward, applying a gloss of some sort to her lips, as well as spraying some nice homemade perfume.Taking a step back from the mirror, and appraising herself once more, her green eyes running down her petite frame, Ruby let out a giggle. She was not one to marvel or dawn over her beauty, but she looked more than pretty this evening.“Yes!” She squealed, turning around and not caring a bit about the maids looking at her in awe, obviously wandering where she was headed to. She didn’t look like a maid at all, instead she looked like a shimmering goddess, one that was going to capture his heart today. She

DACIANADaciana skidded happily along the hallway of the castle, basket in hand. She was going outside, to pack the laundry, just like she did most times since she began working as a maid.A smile on her face, she sang at the same time, humming a melodic tone as she recounted her time here in this new kingdom. As usual, she was not with Ruby every time, but she didn’t care because she had learnt the ropes around here, and she didn’t need her sister’s guidance anymore. Besides Ruby seemed to be highly ranked amongst the servants, and her duties were a lot more different, so they didn’t necessarily cross part every time, only at night when she came back to sleep on the bunk bed they shared. That was all, and Daciana never complained.Nevertheless she was falling more in love with this place, day by day and even though she was made to do hard chores, and other duties, she knew deeply that she would pick this castle over Aunty Helene’s shack anytime. She couldn’t even imagine going back th

LUCIEN REMUS’S CASTLELUCIEN’S POVLucien stretched his arms wide as the maids quickly dressed him up, in the expensive outfit he had personally chosen.Today, he was going to make his presence known to his enemies. After enough pondering, planning and even sending out messages to announce his incoming visit, he was finally grabbing his horse by the reins and doing as he pleased.Everything was already prepared, from the guard and entourage that would follow him to that despicable clan, to the speech he had duly memorized, Lucien knew that he couldn’t flop at all. He was going to give his all tonight, and worse still establish his reputation as a stark enemy and threat to the throne of Keanu Kingdom. Lucien didn’t care what Adolph would think of him, or if he would be publicly scorned for what he was about to do… It was just a surprise visit, and he would accept whatever came his way.Clearing his throat as the maid standing in front of him fastened a hook, Lucien stared down the fl

LUCIEN’S POVLucien furiously wiped at his half bloodied face, his gaze shooting out to the maid who had toppled over in the room. Her entrance has been quite dramatic, causing some kind of commotion that Lucien just didn’t care about. For all he knew, the servants here could be weak limbed and pathetic lots he didn’t care at all. What bothered him heavily, was the humiliation he had just faced, and his fangs already out gnawed at his gum tightly. Lucien could taste blood, his eyes glowing bright red as he glanced back at Adolph Caesar who was now seated in his throne, a hand clutching his chest. Lucien felt like walking up to him, grabbing him by the collar and wringing his neck out of his head, but he held himself back from performing any disastrous act. It wouldn’t bode out well for him at all, and even though he was prepared to fight now, his men were not all that fit to go into war at all. Dragging his gaze from Adolph, Lucien once again stared at the maid who had her hair bent
