Isaac POV I decided to fly back to New York City. I needed some time to clear my head. Everything happened so fast in Ohio in a good way to the point I felt scared that one day it will be gone again and my past might repeat once again. I’m always excited to see and be with Bettany. Somehow I felt that I’m with my old self again. Because after I broke up with Livy I choose to drown myself in my work. I close myself to everyone. I lost myself from being hurt by someone I love more than I should be. I felt cold inside but when I came to Ohio and meet Bettany I felt warm again and I couldn't explain why. Do I’m ready to embrace all these feelings and go back to my old self and be vulnerable once again? --- “Bub, I’m home,” I called for my sister. She is in the living room watching tv. “Oh my god, Bub you’re finally here. When did you come back, why you didn’t tell me you will come. I miss you, Bub”. my sister uttered with surprise on her face. “I just landed today I came here directl

A day passed and we were still at the Garden of Eden. Ryle and I wanted to try the Hiking activities offered at the Garden of Eden. At first, Tamara disagreed with it coz she is not a fan of long walks but in the end, we both convinced her to come along. “Guys I already booked our hiking tomorrow. I think we were accompanied by 3 more groups. It’s going to be more fun”. I eagerly announced to both of them but Tamara is still sulking on the side. “Cupcake, don’t give us that face now. I’m sure you will be enjoying the scenery tomorrow, we will fall in love again watching the sunrise.” Ryle coaxed the pouting Tamara at the side. “Come on we will love this, are you not excited to meet some stranger so that we can be friends once again? I comforted her as well. “Fine, I don’t have any choice now do I? She gives us a sarcastic smile but we both know that she’s looking forward to it as well. We decided to take a rest for today in our room so we have plenty of energy for tomorrow morning

I woke up at my phone alarm, I forgot to turn it off yesterday before I fall asleep. I realized I’m still on vacation coz of my injured ankle. I get my phone to turn off the alarm and I saw I had 10 miscalls from Tamara and 5 miscalls from Isaac. I got a few messages also from them. I read them one by one. I forgot I silenced my phone yesterday. Isaac: Princess, what’s up what’s wrong? Isaac: Princess, are you okay? Isaac: What happened princess, you’re making me worried here. Isaac: Princess. I read Tamara’s message. T: B, Ryle called me are you okay out there? T: you want me to come back? Do you want me to accompany you right now? T: Bettany, answer me. What are you f**king doing, right now? When I read the last message from Tamara, I know she is beyond mad right now. She’s only calling me by my full name when she is that mad at me. I called her to explain everything before she knocks on my door any minute. Ring...Ring... After a few rings, she answered the phone. “Good m

Isaac POV I woke up with a soreness all over my body. I just realized I have fallen asleep on the couch yesterday night while we are watching the movie. I think my body caught up with jet lag and stress. I hope Bettany didn’t mind that I have fallen asleep in the middle of our movie. I’m about to go to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast for Bettany when suddenly her doorbell rang and I was startled. Before I made my way to the door I made sure that I’m presentable enough to the persons behind that door. I opened the door and saw a middle age old couple standing there with different items in their hands. Is Bettany expecting visitors today but she was still asleep at the moment? I’m going to greet them but the old man spoke first. “Who are you? where’s Bettany? “Good morning sir, ma’am, please come in Bettany is still sleeping at the moment. I’m Isaac, Bettany’s neighbor and you could say suitors as well.” I explained to the couple and with my observation, they’re Bettany’s paren

Bettany POV I have a handful scheduled for today. After I had lunch with my team, I went back to the office again to finalize all the materials that will be needing for our book opening this coming week. I still need to attend two more meetings before I go to the dinner with Isaac and his sister. It’s our official meeting with each other but here I am still busy at my work. I don’t even have time to prepare myself or to buy a gift for her. I will gonna worry about it later. Isaac informed me that he will go to the airport to pick up his sister. I couldn’t reply to him coz I’m in the middle of my meeting. I’m down to my last meeting and after that, I am free to go to the restaurant we agreed to meet. I requested Carol to bring me clothes so I could change them before meeting Isaac and his sister. I’m really anxious now what if Isaac's sister wouldn't like me? I know Isaac and me are still not officially in a relationship but I wanted to have a good impression on her. They mostly said
