'But I'm a Campbell,' that truth suffocated her. She stopped talking instantly and focused herself on the food in front of her, eating slowly with her mind wandering around to somewhere else. 'If only there are possibilities for our relationship to work, I would have been your wife right now, proudly announcing to everyone that we're together. But that's not going to happen because you won't marry a Campbell, and I can't be selfish enough to still lead you on inside this relationship. I shouldn't give you any hope of having a lasting relationship with me,' Kathleen slowly persuading her mind to accept the bitter reality of their situation. She kept trying to convince herself that there was no future between her and Aaron. Her eyeballs rolled to the right, taking a peek at Aaron's delighted gaze. He looked so content eating the food with her by his side. His left hand intentionally went to her back and wrapped her waist. "What kind of wedding do you want?" His

"Why not? How about you try dating her a few times first? And let's see where that would lead both of you. Who knows you both might have some chemistry together," Lily still insisted for him to try it out with Ariella."No! I'm not going to do that," Aaron rejected the idea strongly."Why? Give me one good reason why you don't want to do it? You can't keep behaving like this, Aaron, avoiding meeting with women all the time. Are you gay or something? I'm really fed up trying to find you a good match. Date Ariella or else you better give me a damn good reason why you don't want her," Lily was frustrated. She really thought that Ariella was such a catch for Aaron. She had all the nice qualities of a woman and she loved Aaron too. So, Lily couldn't understand why her son was still rejecting that woman."I... had a girlfriend already," he said hesitantly."What?! Say that once again," his mother was in disbelief."I had a girlfriend. I don't need

Aaron began to embrace her body tightly and his head tilted to the right, giving her neck a lecherous kiss. The deadly seductive motions of his hands groping all over her skin made her aroused."I'll be your guest tonight. You can't say no to your boss," he whispered to her ear captivatingly before his lips nibbled her earlobe playfully. The situation was surreal that minutes later, she suddenly lay flat on the sofa with him on top of her, having her body in his control. Aaron swiftly took off his suit and undid two top buttons of his shirt. Then, he unbuckled his belt and pulled it off from his pants. He did that while staring at her with his body on top of her thighs, locking her legs from moving."Do you want to play a bit rough tonight? We never did it inside your house before. Let's make a beautiful memory here, shall we?" He said domineeringly and used his belt to tie both her hands around her wrists. Then he pushed them up above her head while slowly leaning his body to give he

"Mean? Which part of my words sounded mean to you? The way I see it, you're the mean one. Hinting me to fake it in front of Sandra that I'm still a single man. For what? So she would develop some feelings again for me? So that I might be together with her again and leave Kathy? Is that what you're trying to plot right now?" Aaron retorted, feeling as if Ryan was leading him to cheat on Kathleen."I can go tonight. But I'm telling you, I'm not going to come alone. I'm bringing Kathy with me. If you can't accept that, then it's best for me to not come at all. I don't want Sandra or Kathy to misunderstand," he added."Whatever. Just do what you want then. You're just a complete narcissist. You think your opinion was the only thing that matters, that was right and made sense. You don't care what others feel about you. I don't care anymore. You never listen to me anymore since you dated Kathy. So, go to hell with your choice then. You're right. You shouldn't come," Ryan said in irritation

Sandra kept staring at Aaron who looked as if he was having the time of his life when he was on the phone. She wondered who that person was, the one on the other end of the line. He seemed so happy to receive the call and he even mentioned the word 'honey' when he picked it up earlier.'Is that his girlfriend?' She wondered. Her heart which was initially empty was now starting to feel even worse. She really didn't want him to be taken away by another woman. 'He used to love me so much. I'm sure I can make him love me that way again,' Sandra determined internally. As soon as Aaron ended the call, he went to the patio. The rest were now sitting there enjoying the food. There was no more food that needed to be grilled."Aaron, here. I put some meat for you on a plate," Sandra said as soon as Aaron landed his bottom on the chair. She was sitting next to him about half a meter away. Feeling like their seats were too far, she deliberately pulled the chair closer to him and tried to feed him
