Chapter thirty one

“Raina!” Lucian called as soon as I walked into the packhouse in my wolf form. I stopped then walked away not before hearing Lucy telling him to leave me be. At that point, I liked her because I was not in the mood to talk to anybody. I shifted back as soon as I got to the corridor of the floor where the bedroom was.“Rain” I met Henrietta on the way. The only person I could say I liked. “I’m sorry. I don't want to talk right now” I beg. She nodded and smiled at me.“I understand. Get some rest before lunchtime” She told me.“I don't think I'm going to eat,” I told her in advance.“You did not eat anything all morning”“Maybe dinner. I need to go now” I ran to my room. I went into the bathroom and prepared a bath for myself with some of the new bathing essentials I got from the shopping with Lucian and I took my time to look over at our relationship. It does not look like we are meant to be to get her but why did the moon goddess put us together? For what reason? Was the vampire ki

“It is lunchtime” He informed. “I’m not interested” I covered my head back with the duvet.“My parents just got back from their three days trip and they want to have lunch with everyone. Be down in five minutes” He said his voice harsh. I stood up from the comfort of the bed and picked out what to wear something I know for sure took more than five minutes. I finally concluded to go with dark pink shorts and a baby pink top that covered the shorts. After putting the clothes on I slipped my legs into my slippers and I walked out of the room making sure to keep my straight face on.“It’s so nice to meet you again Rain. We couldn't introduce ourselves the last time” The short petite woman smiled at me. “Yeah, because someone wasn't very hospitable,” I said glaring at Lucy. She ignored me with an eye roll. The woman was shocked at my response so the tall man said,“Let’s get seated and get ready for lunch” He announced.“Sounds like a good idea,” Lucian said. Everyone sat down in the di

My paws hit the hot fallen leaves and small tree branches as I ran through the bushes to get to my destination. Knowing how competitive Lucy was I knew she would follow despite knowing fully well that I had just crossed the pack territory. Lost in my thoughts I had not seen the taller thick tree in front of me so I hit it and feel. Lucy stood beside me for a while. I growled at her wolf and she took off. I stood up immediately too. I shook my fur before taking off in a very fast sprint. Surprisingly for me, I didn't know I was this fast. Not long after I was now running side by side with her wolf. She looked at me before taking off. Why do I keep getting distracted? If she runs in another direction this will be a wasted effort so I take my money off everything and thought solely about the price.I ran past her again and she follows me. Not long after this out wolves were standing in front of him. Lucy's wolf walked back but I changed.“Clothes” I inquired. He smiled at me before throw

Still fuming from everyone’s lack of sympathy that I lost my only friend I decided to read the book to cool me down but before I read past two sentences I was knocked out Into a deep sleep. **********I saw myself walking in a very dark room, all doors black and shut. I ran to one of the doors and as soon as I touched the door knob the door disappeared. I ran to the door behind me and the same things happened. I did this to all the doors and every single door disappeared. Already scared and tired I walked down what seemed like a ball only to meet with a big bold black door. I walked closer to it hoping this won’t be like the other six doors I tried to open. Fear, something I hated feeling but I get to feel constantly. I was scared. What the hell is happening? I was in bed just now so how did I land myself here? I asked but there was no one to help me. There has never been anyone to help. I’m all by myself. Bracing myself for the worst I walked towards the door with confidence. I tou

I closed the book quickly. what? Guinevere went through that? I could not continue to read no matter how curious I was so I just closed the book, hid it under my pillow and lay on the bed to rest myself. I know I wouldn't sleep so I just closed my eyes and let the thoughts of my parents come into the picture of my mind. I really miss them every living day. A day without them is another day I question my existence. Why did they both have to leave me alone in this wicked world? I sometimes wish I was human. They have it so much easier. What if I just leave to be among the humans. It will be so much better for everybody. Nobody will have to worry about pretending to be nice to a slave Luna. Lucian can even mate and crown another his Luna. I will be free. The thoughts alone hurt my heart but I have to do it so I stood up and started planning my escape from everyone. I let my legs take me far away from the packhouse. I let my legs hit the hit the fallen leaves as I ran towards where I had left Megan’s body hoping it was still there. She should never have been killed! She did not deserve it and whoever did this to her will be killed. The annoying vampire and Alpha Lucas are responsible for this and I don't care who killed her, they will both pay for her death one way or the other, which I will make sure of.I pushed my body to run faster when I started to feel tired. I must see Megan's body again. Luckily for me, I found her body right behind the tree I left it. I dropped my black bag by the tree. I fell on all fours letting my wolf take control of my body letting go of all pain as I let my weak body shift into my very light brown wolf. I used my teeth to pull Megan's lifeless body to the middle of the way. I went back to my bag, shifted out of my brown wolf form and quickly put on knee-length shorts and a top. I looked around if I could find a sh

******“Argh” I groaned as I shifted in the comfort of this bed. I opened my eyes only for them to meet with a familiar green one. I tried to sit up but I just put my sore muscles in misery.“What happened?” Lucian said, worry on his toned face. This is not the time to admire your annoying soulmate, Raina. I looked away from him.“Don’t act like you care, please” My voice was low and weak. He held my hand and whispered.“I do care about you Raina. Much more than you can imagine” He explains.“Why didn't you stand up for me when I needed you,” I asked trying not to let my tears fall. Why does he switch up like this? This minute he wants to make effort next minute I'm some stranger in his pack he can't trust. “I’m sorry it seemed that way to you Raina”“You’re not sorry you didn't stand up for me instead you are sorry I think that way? What is wrong with you Lucian? Do you want me here?” I couldn't help but ask because it does not seem that way to me. I looked up at him. He sighed.“I

It's been exactly three days since I got back into the packhouse. To my surprise, the beautiful room I was admiring was actually Lucian’s room but I left the room that night. I stayed in my room and cried myself to sleep. The next morning when I woke up Henrietta walked In with a wooden tray of food. I smiled at her in appreciation. She also didn't talk but nodded at me.When I was done eating my breakfast she helped me clean up because it was hard to move. After I slept my body became weak because did not do anything. I staggered against Ri as she took me to the bathroom. She let the water run in the bathtub before helping me in. She poured the content of my body wash into the body scrub and helped me. We both went to the closet that still has the things I bought not unpacked yet. She picked out a long gown for me and helped me back to the bed. When it was the afternoon she came back with water and food. I drowned my throat with the whole jug because I was really thirsty. I munched

It's been exactly a week and I haven't still left my room. I already got better two days ago but the thoughts of leaving the room scared the hell out of me so Henrietta kept coming to see me and also keep me company. “I think I'm ready to leave the room,” I said to her as soon as I finished my lunch. She had a look of shock that she quickly masked with an assuring smile.“Are you sure?” I nodded.“Yes. I've been here all week”“Ok then. Let me take the dishes away and give you some time to prepare” I stopped her.“No. Wait. I want to make food before we leave”“What for?” She asked.“To apologize” I replied like it was very obvious what I wanted to do with the food.“Yeah sure. Let's leave now then. We should be done right in time for dinner” She Informed. I stood up and followed her to the kitchen.“What do you want to prepare?” She asked me leaning the dirty dishes in the sink. I placed my hand on my chin and tilted my head like I was thinking.“Ahemm_ chicken soup?” I asked unsure
