“She’s going to come up here,” Clara said to Caiden. She was calmer than she was expecting. Perhaps it was the presence of Caiden next to her that was helping her. She wasn’t alone anymore. Clara surveyed the scene with an analytical gaze. She could tell that their words and actions were sincere.
