บททั้งหมดของ The Alpha Prince Unexpected Mate: บทที่ 101 - บทที่ 110

Elizabeth gasped when she saw Lancelot push open the doors of the throne room. She watched as he stepped inside with so much confidence and a carefree aura. He walked in as though he did not just keep hundreds of esteemed royalties waiting. He walked in as if he did not know that his hands and face were stained with blood. Still, there was something extremely chivalrous about him. Despite the blood on his chiseled jaw, his blue eyes still sparkled in their dark and sexual allure. His dark blonde hair was disheveled, some strands falling to his forehead. The black and long winter jacket he had on accentuated the broadness of his shoulders. Walking into the room now, he was as handsome and seductive as he always ways, the blood only made him more dangerous. And Elizabeth loved it! If only he wasn't her cousin, she thought, as she drooled over him. Even if he was her cousin, she would have definitely found a way for the both of them to be together, if his silly bethroted and chosen mat

"He has to be, she's his mate." As each word settled on her ears, her heart broke into large pieces, and fell to the ground, shattering into smaller pieces. She stood at the door, still with her ears pressed to it, waiting for Lancelot to deny the accusation. He was the alpha king of London Pride pack, there was no way a lowlife human could be his mate! No, the goddess couldn't have been that stupid. She waited and waited, but Lancelot said nothing to deny what Peter had just said. She heard the butler speak up. "That makes a lot of sense. I always knew there was something going on between you two, right from the second you introduced her as your...secretary." Yes. That was what Lancelot had made everybody believe. He had lied to his entire family to keep the human here, close to him. By the goddess! It all made sense now, how could she be so stupid?! All those times he had carried her along, kept her close to his side, he had even gone on his four days expedition with her. All o

Within him, Peter fought the urge to shrug his shoulders. Put everything in order? That would take a while, he thought. But, he knew better than to voice such thoughts. So, he bowed in adherence once more. "I would do all that you've asked sir." "Good, leave now." Peter didn't ask anymore questions, not even how or when Lancelot would return to the palace. If Lancelot didn't care about his crown, why should he be the one to beat himself up about it? As he walked down the corridor of hospital rooms, soaked with the smell of bleach and antiseptic and painted with a very pale shade of sky-blue, he tucked his hand into his back pocket and drew out his phone. Luckily, he had saved Emily's number as one of Roxanne's next-of-kin, should anything happen to her. He searched for her number in her phone and dialed it. It rung for about twenty seconds, before he heard a seemingly breathless voice at the end of the phone. "Hello?" "Am I on to Emily?" He asked, still walking swiftly. "Yes,

The sound of the clock ticking was not enough to deafen the sound of his thoughts from his mind. Even after Peter had left, Lancelot still found it extremely difficult to focus on, or think about anything. He was becoming more and more apprehensive with every passing moment. The thought that Roxanne could have been killed today still failed to sit well with him. Yes, he killed most - if not all - of the men who kidnapped her. But, the person who had sent them had to suffer an equally gruesome fate in his hands, even if it wasn't death. He looked at her frame on the bed, covered in bandages, she looked like a shadow of herself. Worse still, she had his baby in her. Anything could have happened to the child. Lancelot's face turned a dark shade of red as his anger continued to grow within him. He had to find them, whoever it was. He knew just where to start. Lancelot reached for side pocket and picked out his phone from it. He searched for the phone number of the chief of security in

Alas, the night of the full moon had come once more, the night that signified a new dawn, a brand new era. Lancelot stepped out of his room in his royal silk robe, ready for his precession into the courtyard where the ritual would take place. He walked down the deserted stairs - since everyone was outside waiting - to the door of the palace. Six guards stood there, when they saw him, they all went down on one knee and bowed to him, just like they always did to his father. Lancelot was taken aback for a moment. Their gesture was a quick and sudden reminder that he was about to take his father's place and be at the forefront of all activities from now on. He nodded and ordered them to rise up. When they did, he stepped foward and two stood side by side in front of him, while the remaining four lined up at his back. Lancelot stood still, in anticipation, waiting for the sound of drums and the howling and chants of the warrior wolves to usher him in. He didn't have to wait for long.
