My New Boo?CHAPTER TWENTY-ONEAlexaA Few Weeks Later“Home Sweet Home.”I stretched my arms wide, taking in a deep breath of fresh sea-salt air at the beach. God, I had missed this place. Having been gone all summer, I hadn’t realized how much I would actually miss my home town. Cyprus was a great place to spend time with my parents, but as the saying went, “East or West, Home is the best.”“The sand feels so great between my toes.” I sighed, squishing my toes in the sand granules, feeling them as they flowed through the spaces in my toes. The beach had always been my go to place when I wanted to celebrate something, or when I was always happy.Deciding it was time for a swim, I decided to hit the waves. I swam for hours, and when I started to feel a little sore and pale, I left the ocean, walking to my spot under an umbrella where I managed to leave my beach towel, sunscreen and my beach bag. Laying out my towel, I lay on it, body laid out as I sun-bathed. After what felt like hou

A change of heart? CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO Devon’s Pov I couldn’t stop thinking about the way her lips felt on mine. So soft, pink and luscious. Up until today, I had never thought of Alexa that way, probably because she was already taken. Plus, only recently, our relationship had grown to somewhat friendly, something like an unspoken truce. We had been enemies from the start, since the time we had laid eyes on each other. But these insane thoughts hadn’t stopped plaguing my mind all afternoon. Sitting up from the sofa I was lying in, I let out a groan of frustration. Harry, who was sipping his coffee from a large white mug that read “Caffeine Addict” turned an inquisitive eye on me. “What’s got your knickers in a twist?” Deciding that confiding in him would probably turn out helpful, I explained. “I got kissed this afternoon.” Harry arched a brow. “I don’t see how that’s a problem or a bad thing.” “Well, it’s just that…I don’t think this girl is into me that way.” “Do you like h

The Proposal CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE Alexa “He wants us to meet and talk.” “He does? Then what are you fucking doing here still face timing me, bitch. Go and see him.” Stacey yelled through her excitement. “Go? I don’t even know what’s he’s going to say?” “Go and find out then. You are acting like a really dumb person.” Stacey laughed. I just rolled my eyes at her. “Fine. Fine. I’m going. What do I wear though? Do I look okay?” I asked, gesturing to my denim black shorts and red tank top and fuzzy slippers. “You look cute, but change into something comfortable, something that won’t make it seem like you are being too forward. Like you didn’t put too much thought into it?” “Like jeans and a tank?” “Exactly. Gosh, you sound like you’ve never done this before. Relax, babe. Don’t think much into it.” Stacey advised. “Ok. I’ve got to get ready. Tell you all about it later.” I promised. “Bye. See you soon.” I said, then hang up. Looks I was going to meet Devon. The air was cool and

My boyfriend…fake boyfriend?CHAPTER TWENTY-FOURAlexaMy palms were sweaty.Grabbing a napkin, I wiped them, then let it fall it at my feet. Every minute that ticked by only made my anxiety rise. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. Everyone was definitely going to see through this. I shouldn’t have…..“Hey.”Devon whispered beside me, his large hand coming to rest on my knee. I stared at it, shocked at how warm it felt on my skin. Nevertheless, I hadn’t expected him to touch me.“Relax. Your leg has been going a mile per minute, and I can hear the wheels turning in your head all the way from here.”“I just can’t stop thinking. What if…” all this was a bad idea? I didn’t dare complete the sentence. Looking at him, I knew he could tell what I was going to say. A few weeks before school could start, we had spent a lot of time together, enough to know about each other so we could keep our fake relationship going and convincing. This being our first day, we had both agreed he would drive

A Supportive BoyfriendCHAPTER TWENTY-FIVEAlexa“Whoa.” “Would you quit saying that? It’s starting to bug me.”“I can’t help it. It’s just that the video is so mesmerizing.”Stacey and I were currently hanging out in the cafeteria. Her lunch was long forgotten, since she was nose deep buried in her phone screen.Unintelligible sounds came from her phone speakers, eliciting a sigh from me. “Would please quit watching that forsaken video.”“I can’t.” She said. Not that I was hoping she would agree to what I was asking. After that show that Devon and I had put on earlier today, it was no surprise that someone had caught us on video.A lot of eyes had been watching us.Four hours later and the video was already going viral on the school community site. While Devon and I had definitely put on a show for everyone in the hallway, I hadn't even expected that it would go this far.Devon had been really attentive to my needs, and he had been really dedicated to convincing everyone that he was

Hanging outCHAPTER TWENTY SIXAlexa"Mom," I yelled for my mother who was currently in the kitchen. "Could you please help me see the person who's at the door?""Sure, sweetie."Finishing my shower, I wrapped the towel around my body and did the same for my hair. Strolling back into my room, I sat at my dressing table and swiftly began my hair.I quickly applied my body lotion and skincare before I changed into a short pair of denim shorts and a giant sized hoodie. I also tried my hair up in a mess bun.Shortly after I was done, my mom came knocking on my door. "Alexa, it's me sweetie, may I come in?""Of course."She peeked her head inside before coming fully inside. She was smirking at me and I was curious as to why she was doing that."So, who was at the door mom?""Oh." Her grin widened. "It was a young gentleman. He told me he was your boyfriend. He's currently waiting downstairs in the living room."My jaw dropped. There was no doubt she was possibly talking about Devon. I rush

Hanging out-part2CHAPTER TWENTY SEVENDevonI was currently perched at the front porch of my girlfriend's house, waiting for the doorbell that I had rang just a couple of seconds ago to be answered. Alexa, though only being my girlfriend in name only and none of it being real, it felt good to address her as such. My initial feelings at the moment were far from those that I felt from when we first met. However, with a few moments and some dramatic events occuring in both our live, I had found myself catching feelings for her.I had caught onto what a kind and brilliant person she was, especially during the library dates we had both shared over the past summer. I was dragged out of my thoughts when the door opened, revealing her mother. She was a beautiful blonde woman in her mid-forties and I could tell that Alexa had got her looks from her. She smiled pleasantly as she greeted me, "Hello.""Hi." I replied, handing over the bouquet of flowers I had in hand. They had originally bee

Hanging out-part2 CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT Devon "Oh my God. You actually brought me to a carnival." I leaned back against my back, crossing my arms with a shit eating grin as I watched Alexa squeal in excitement. I had come up with the idea after much thought, and I was glad it was actually paying off. "Yeah. I remember you told me about it a few months ago and that you hadn't been to one since you were a kid." I explained as we both made our way to where the tickets were being sold. Grabbing my wallet, I paid for our entrance tickets. "You actually remembered?" She sounded like she was touched. "Of course I did. I looked up one online and fortunately found one that wasn't far away from where we lived." "Devon..." Her adorably eyes rounded beautifully as we made eye contact and I couldn't help but smile at her, scratching the back of my head. "I just wanted to make sure you got to have fun." A sweet silence echoed between us, both lost within each other's eyes. The moment ho

I caught feelings. CHAPTER TWENTY NINEAlexaIt was exactly a week from the time Devon and I had our date. At the moment though, he was absent from school and I hadn't seen him for a couple days. It wasn't for long though and I expected him to return this weekend. It was after school hours and Stacey and I were currently hanging out in my bedroom as she filled me in about school's latest gossip. "That's crazy. ""It's crazy what kids these days will do for a grade. Mandy literally did all that for a B. Granted, her dad had promised getting her a Porsche, but if you ask me, going down on our teacher in the Chemistry lab was going a little far. ""Well, now Mr. Terry is facing 15years in prison and as a registered sex offender and pedophile. But if we're being honest here, he'll probably not be making it out alive, especially not with Mandy's father's influence. "We both stayed silent, soaking in the information. "I'm getting chills continuously thinking about it. ""Me too. "The

I caught feelings-pt.2CHAPTER THIRTYAlexaI fought him, the moment my brain recovered it's functionality. Initially, I had frozen, shocked at the unexpected turn of events, but that was no more. I struggled in his arms, using my nails to scratch him wherever I could reach, trying to break free from him. When that didn't work, I bit him, as hard as I could until I tasted the metallic taste of blood, but all through that, Devon didn't let go or stop. He had a gentle but firm grip on my face. His kisses remained gentle, coaxing and soothing. His teeth nibbled on my lips, gently begging as he sucked and licked, using his lips where words weren't spoken.I felt myself begin to go slack in his arms and when I couldn't hold back my own pleasure from his kisses, I decided to kiss him back. Everything began at a slow tempo, light and passionate, with Devon's hand gently caressing my face and following a path to my hair. Suddenly, he pushed his tongue in my mouth, seeking entrance, and I le
