CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

I was currently perched at the front porch of my girlfriend's house, waiting for the doorbell that I had rang just a couple of seconds ago to be answered.

Alexa, though only being my girlfriend in name only and none of it being real, it felt good to address her as such. My initial feelings at the moment were far from those that I felt from when we first met.

However, with a few moments and some dramatic events occuring in both our live, I had found myself catching feelings for her.

I had caught onto what a kind and brilliant person she was, especially during the library dates we had both shared over the past summer.

I was dragged out of my thoughts when the door opened, revealing her mother. She was a beautiful blonde woman in her mid-forties and I could tell that Alexa had got her looks from her.

She smiled pleasantly as she greeted me, "Hello."
