Selena didn't think she would actually be that nervous to go out with Lucas.Lucas sent her a text, and Selena didn't know how he got her number, asking if she wanted him to pick her up or if they should meet somewhere.Selena didn't want to bother him, nor she wanted someone from her pack seeing him around, specially not her father. It could be the end of that relationship even before it started. She said she would meet him at the park and then she went home to get ready. She took a shower, wore some comfy jeans and a jacket, and left to meet him. Her hands were a bit sweaty, but she tried to relax. She didn't have any reason to be nervous after all. Right? When she arrived at the park, it wasn't hard to find Lucas among everyone there. His appearance made him stood out like he wasn't even supposed to be part of that world. Selena couldn't believe how lucky she was because he wanted to spend time with her amongst everyone else in the world. She thought it should be normal for him to h

Demi looked a little intrigued, looking from Selena to Lucas repeatedly. It was like she was trying to imagine how and when that combination happened."What are you doing here?" Lucas asked a little uncomfortable. It was clear to Selena that he wasn't comfortable with that situation."I am going to pick something I bought at the store. What about you guys? What brings you here? I didn't even know you were friends." Selena noticed a bit of sarcasm on her voice, but she wasn't in the mood to answer. She would let Lucas deal with her."We were just taking a walk." Demi looked at Selena."I see. For a moment, I thought I had misunderstood this." she pointed to the two in front of her. Selena didn't like the way the girl looked at her when she said that. It was like Demi was looking down upon her.In an impulse and without thinking, Selena grabbed Lucas' hand and intertwined their fingers. Exactly like a couple would do.Demi straightened her eyes to their hands and looked at Lucas with

They arrived at the bar in silence, as Selena was still very furious about what she had experienced with Demi on the street.Lucas was also intrigued about this new Selena. She was always trying to make it seem like she didn't care much about him, even though it was pretty obvious for him that she did. Every time he came close to her, he would feel her nervousness and how much she tried to be cool about him being so near. They sat on the stools near the bar and ordered two beers to the bartender.Selena was very confident that she could win the bet, but at the same time she just wanted to drink and forget that awful encounter with his ex.The barman put the glasses in front of them, and Selena didn't even wait to make a toast. She took a huge sip of the drink while Lucas was still holding his glass, waiting for her. He made a toast in the air by himself and drank the beer."So, are we just going to wait to see who wins the bet in silence or we can talk during the process?" Lucas mock

For the first time, Selena didn't feel the urge to push him away. In fact, she didn't want the kiss to end at all.Lucas had now put his hand around her waist in an embrace and pulled her towards him. She was finally enjoying the moment, like Maddie had told her to do. And it was incredible. He was holding her tight, like he didn't want her to leave his arms. And it just felt so good. She wrapped her arms around his neck and had no idea if it passed seconds or minutes when they finally let go of each other. Both of them were still trying to figure out what had happened and they stayed quiet for a few seconds.Lucas looked inside her eyes and whispered, with their foreheads still together:"I really hope you won't say you're sorry again." Selena shook her head in denial. She wasn't going to say that. Not anymore. She had finally realized that it had no escape from what she was feeling. She simply couldn't deny it anymore. It was getting so strong that she had to admit defeat for herse

Selena got to college really early that day. She was feeling like a brand new woman. Her heart was warm with just the thought of the previous night, but her body was really excited and alive with the memories of the moments she shared with Lucas. He was making her feel things she never dreamed of before. Every kiss was a new different feeling inside her body, and it awoke her animalistic side as well. The moment she put her feet on the college floor, Maddie came running to talk to her."Just tell me everything. I by that I mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Don't you dare hide the details." she said enthusiastically. Selena laughed although she was caught by surprise. She was so immersed in her own thoughts that morning, that she didn't even think that Maddie would definitely want a full report from her date with Lucas."You know what, I'm not the type of girl that kisses and tell." she mocked her friend.Maddie slapped her arm angrily."I swear to you, if you don't tell me… I won't answer for
