1. Future Husband

"Miss Yna, your grandfather called."My attention shifted from my computer screen to my assistant in front of me."He asked if you could visit him tonight," Tiffany continued while adjusting her eyeglasses.I heaved a sigh. Honestly, I didn't want to. But I said otherwise when I responded to her."Tell him I'll be there." Tiffany nodded and left my presence. I knew why my grandfather, Damien Samaniego, wanted to see me. For sure, it was that same issue again. He was pressuring me to get married before he turned eighty. And that was in a month counting from today.I am twenty-seven and never had a boyfriend. How on earth would I find myself a husband in such a short period of time?Stressed, I called in Tiffany to bring me a whole container of ice cream and a chocolate bar from my fridge in the pantry."These aren't going to help, Miss Yna," Tiffany said as she gave me the sweets. "Did I ask for your opinion?" My assistant, knowing better than to piss me off, shook her head and lef

2. Secret wedding.

Weekend came about so quickly. Before I knew it, I was with my grandfather and we were talking with the Dela Vegas in his house.Marionne and Ben Dela Vega were a sweet couple. They didn't say anything about how huge I was nor did they try to convince me to lose weight. My future groom, Nicholas, was a poker face. 3. Honeymoon.

That's what Grandpa wanted. And also his parents' wish. And although it somehow made me feel giddy at the thought, I couldn't let my guard down. I knew there's something I needed to brace myself with. "Let's go then," Nicholas went to the side of the car and opened the back seat for me. "You will be more comfortable here."I nodded because duh, I knew what he meant. That I would not fit in the passenger seat. But I didn't say anything. The drive to his house was rather silent. Nicki's full attention was on the road, while I pretended to be busy with my phone. I still couldn't believe that I am now Mrs. Dela Vega. Even though I cannot carry his name publicly, legal documents say that I am indeed a Dela Vega from now on. For now, that's enough for me. After an hour of silent travel, the c
