LIAMI swat at the alarm clock on the table next to my bed, rubbing the sleep from my eyes and wondering if I look as bad as I feel. I really tied one on last night. We had a concert in New York City and the boys and I went out to party afterwards. My head is pounding as I reach for the glass of water and Tylenol on the bedside table, greedily gulping them both down.Next I check my phone, just as I have every morning since she's been gone. At this point I'm not sure what I'm expecting to find besides more disappointment. There are a couple of texts from Ty telling me to get my ass up for the Rolling Stone shoot in a couple hours, the one we were supposed to be doing with Delilah, but still nothing from her. I haven't seen or heard from Delilah since the Christmas Eve party from Hell. You'd think by now that I would be used to the way Delilah ghosts me, instead of dealing with our problems head on, but here I am. Alone and miserable, again. Maybe that's my punishment for ghosting her

LIAM"Are you sure she's coming tonight?" I ask Ty for the hundredth time impatiently tapping my foot on the tile floor. He nods, a sympathetic smile on his face. "Tessa said they'd be here. You know how they are. They are probably still getting ready. You should have a drink and relax. You're not doing yourself any favors getting all wound up like this."I roll my eyes at him, "Easy for you to say. You're not the one in love with someone who's constantly running away from you. I need some kind of tracking device for her." I joke and Ty raises his brows at me questioningly. "I'm not sure that joke would go over well." He states glancing around the room. These celebrity parties are always well attended and tonight is no different. Dozens of actors, musicians, and celebrities mingling together to bring in the New Year. "Don't look now, but they just walked in." He whispers his eyes motioning behind me. Of course I do exactly what he says not to do and my eyes instantly lock with her go

LIAM The huge rush that I get when I walk out onto the stage for a show never gets old. My adrenaline is pumping when I look out into the crowd and it's only heightened when I feel her brown eyes on me from the side of the stage. I turn my head raking my eyes over her one last time before I have to divert my attention to the crowd of people screaming our names in front of me. I'll have her screaming my name later. Damn, she looks so good tonight, I could eat her. There is actually nothing that I'd rather do at the moment. I feel myself getting more excited than I need to be in front of all these people and give her a wink before forcing myself to pull my eyes off her. "Hey New York! Are you ready to party? How about we play you some tunes?" My questions are immediately answered with cheers, whistling, and camera flashes as I put the microphone back into the stand and swing my guitar around to begin playing. "Alright then. My boys are a bit hungover from last night, so let's show the

DELILAH A knock on the door wakes me from my drunken slumber. I roll over and notice that Liam's not in the bed anymore and all of his belongings are gone. Strange. I could have swore he stayed the night. Why would he sneak out in the middle of the night without saying bye? Did I do something to upset him? I climb out of bed and make my way to the door cracking it open to see who is knocking."Hey Tessa. Why are you waking me up so early?" I grumble. "It's not early Lilah. It's almost noon. You need to shower and get ready to host the New Years Eve party." She smiles at me, before glancing around the room in confusion. "Is Liam not here? I thought you two made up last night." "I guess he didn't come back with me last night. I'm not sure, things are a bit hazy." "Huh, well anyway you need to get showered and then we can grab some brunch before we head over to the party." I nod and head to the bathroom to get ready. Maybe a hot shower will help me remember last nights events a bit b

LIAM "Are you two officially back together?" A reporter chirps shoving her recorder in our faces after we just finished filming a segment for the live show. I look at Delilah, wondering what she's thinking as I reply, "We're still working things out." Dels frowns at my response as the reporter steps in closer. "That's too bad. So who will you be kissing at midnight then?" She asks winking at me and stepping in closer. "I'm free." She mentions, raising a brow at Dels. I'm not sure if that comment was meant for me or Delilah at this point, but I'm not taking any chances. I take Delilah's hand and thread my fingers with hers before quickly responding. "I can say with certainty that if I'm not kissing this amazing girl at midnight, I most definitely will not be kissing anyone else." I look hopefully into those honey brown eyes that I love so much to see if she feels the same way. "I don't know," she teases coyly, but her eyes are telling me that she agrees with me completely.
