"Someone wants to see you, your highness," Salvador, the Palace messenger interrupted and Meridith was glad he came on time. She won't have to answer the king's question about her spell book. Damon looked up to Salvador. "Who is it?" His tone was cold. Salvador shifted uncomfortably, revealing the two imperial letters he had at hand. "This was sent by Carlos, your brother, " Salvador answered. Upon hearing this, Damon left Meridith and strode towards Salvador in a haste. His dear brother has written to him after so many weeks. He collected the letter from Salvador immediately. "I will call for you later, Meridith," Damon said and Meridith's panicking reduced. She‘s glad about her momentary victory, all thanks to Salvador. "As you wish, My King," Meridith made curtsy and walked out like she own the castle. Damon read the letter and a smile tug on the corner of his lips. Salvador was surprised to see the King smile. It was the first time he would see him but the smile didn't last

The news of Meridith's wedding in the next five days filled Daisy's ears. Meridith's name rang in her ears wherever she walks to in the Palace. Even at the farm, the other slaves didn't hide their excitement as they were all going to have free food at the King's wedding. The only time they get to eat more is during any festive period or ceremony. As much as Daisy tried to hide her bitterness, she couldn't. She had thought that the pain of rejection is the greatest, but she never knew that watching her mate get married to someone else will hurt her so much. Night had fallen. Meridith was watching Daisy from the distance as she cleared the farm. Those curse Daisy laid on her kept echoing in her mind. Still looking at Daisy, she wondered how she managed to look regal in such dirty and ugly maid uniform. What angered Meridith the most was that she has to work harder in trying to look like a queen but Daisy just carried that kind of aura naturally. Though she wouldn't admit it, she env

Meridith got up from the bed in her nightclothes and made her way out of the room, because the King will need her. She cornered to the path that leads to the King chamber in time to see the King at the door of his chamber. "My King...." She was whispering seductively. He didn't spare her a glance. "Go away, Meridith, I do not need you" He entered his chambers and she heard the lock turn. Meridith was shocked, she doesn't know what to say. She stood skyrocketed on her spot, trying to assimilate his words. When she did, she doesn't know what to feel or what to expect further. Anger that he went all through Daisy and found satisfaction in her started building up in Meridith. She fears that somethings will start changing, Damon would find out about her and things won't be in her favor. .......... "Salvador has joined the nightwatch men team, I made him change into their clothes and...." Damon stopped what he was doing and gave Salvatore a I didn't ask for the details look. Salvato

Silence descended as Kian and Domenico were unable to provide answers to the king's question about the red mark that formed on Daisy's cheek. They had no answers. They had their heads bowed and their hands were behind their back. "I only said to give her tedious work as torture, I didn't ask to assault her nor to leave marks on her body. Only I have the right to do that!" Damon said. His voice wasn't calm, it wasn't harsh neither. "Yes My King, the only time I lay my hands on her is....." "I never asked you to lay your hands on her. You have no reasons to" Damon cut Kian off. "Yes My King" Kian replied submissively. "I didn't order that " Damon growled, further. "You can leave" he dismissed them. Meridith who stood behind the wooden door left immediately. She was sheating in anger as she heard all that the King said. He scolded the slave trainer for Daisy!. She was furious and she felt that she is losing to Daisy. She felt the need to do something but that seems impossible as D

Daisy felt herself getting relaxed as Damon rubbed in a circular motion, the same time, he plunged and strained behind her. He only made grunts behind her, not even a moan. She was suddenly feeling something she couldn't understand.... and it scared her too, she didn't fight him or struggle against him. She cried out when the pleasure was too much for her to bear. Her body trembled under his as she met liquid around him. She couldn't hold it anymore. Her hands gave out and she collapsed on the bed, sobbing aloud, unable to control herself. He kept his thrusts short and steady while the feeling continued to wash over her completely. He pulled away from her then and there she laid, trying to understand what happened to her. There was no strength in her anymore. Her yanked off her blindfold and her eyes watched as he moved away from her. He never removes his clothes with her, she has never seen any part of his organ, she can't tell how it looks. The only thing she knew was that he is
