A daisy, a solitary speck of white and yellow, bloomed prematurely amid the pristine green of Vesna's freshly mowed lawn at home. She shined brightly in the May sun, her golden centre a perfect reflection of the sun above. This trailblazing flower will not last long or even have a brief yet gorgeous life in a daisy chain. “I want you to arrange the baskets and call Erin and ask her to see me as soon as she can.” I stood by the table waiting for Corvina to return her attention to me after she finished instructing the other females. “Hey lady?” A small voice asked for my attention, and I looked around to find a tiny girl staring up at me. “What is that?” She asked pointing at a flower crown hanging on a hook and I crouched in front of her.“That is a flower crown. Would you like to wear it?” I asked and she nodded her head and put it on top of her long brown hair. “Just like this.” She stared up at me with surprised eyes.“You look like a flower princess!” Her face brightened up at what I said. “Would you like to see yourself?” I asked and she nodded her head with excitement.I brought out the small mirror I had kept in the stall and held it in front of her. Upon seeing her reflection, she jumped up and down with joy bringing a smile to my face.“Thank you!” She squealed and I smiled down at her.“You are welcome.” She gave me back the mirror and wa
