Lahat ng Kabanata ng A Trilogy: Accession of the Immortals: Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

Alistair sat bored on his throne, waiting for his brother to arrive. He soon switched position in his seat, with one hand under his chin and the other swirling around the drink in his glass. He was thinking of ways to make October love him, but all he could think of was torture."Brother," Onyx said, pushing the doors of the throne room open. ''What? No music for my grand entrance.'' He opened his arm as a twisted smile formed on his face."Onyx." Alistair greeted him bluntly, then downed the rest of what was in his glass in one big gulp."Is that anyway to greet your older brother? We haven't seen each other in a while. I wasn't expecting you to run in my arms, but to at least be more... welcoming," Onyx asked as he walked over to look at a painting of their parents."What do you want, Onyx?" Alistair asked. "Make it snappy, even though this place has nothing to offer you."All Alistair wanted to do was go watch his bride, even from a distance. He was slowly becoming obsessed with he

October hesitated at the door, fully aware that Alistair was behind her. He gave her a gentle push, but she didn't budge. Instead, she wring her fingers, wondering if this was her death he was leading her to, because as far as she could see, the room was dark, so she turned to him, ready to beg for her life."You really don't have to do this," she told him.Alistair leant his head to the side, confused about what she was talking about."October Summer,'' A voice called, causing her to gasp. She spun around so fast, she almost lost her balance."Nice of you to visit. I thought my nephew would have kept you locked up in your room.""Please enter," he said, after his momentary pause of words. Alistair gave October another push, which caused her to enter the room fully. To where she saw a man sitting around a grand piano that was black and shiny. He was playing an unfamiliar tune, which pulled at her heart string as he hit the keys perfectly.October took a few involuntary steps forward,

October gulped as he continued to stare down at her, and her up at him. His face was unreadable while his mouth was set in a firm line.'Holy shit,' she thought, not from fear but from how sexy he was. Just leading on the doorpost, he looked like those men you see on steamy romance novel covers, the ones that got women's attention and made them wet the more they read about the pleasure the male brought to the female.October shook her head when her mind strayed, beginning to think if it would be like that for them."I can't have Stockholm syndrome," she accidentally said out loud without realising it.Alistair chuckled and shook his head. "Where have you been?'' He finally spoke. His voice held something that made her skin crawl and shivers to run down her spine. All that he had done to her came flooding back into her mind. She knew that he was not a man to play games with, but she had to lie, or at least stretch the truth."I was lost,'' October said, waving the map with a nervous la

"Why is this happening to me?" October asked herself.Even though she hated crying, she couldn't help her tears. With not knowing what was going on now and everything else, she felt lost and confused. No one was willing to give her any answers. She didn't know where she was and missed her family. With a new determination, October picked up her map to study it again. Knowing that it was her way out, all she had to do was make it to the outside and make a run for it. Hoping that she could escape the mad house she was in.But soon after, she gave up on her plan to escape, mostly because she knew that all the wondering eyes wouldn't allow her to.October peeked out to see that the coast was clear, before stepping out into the gray hall. She hadn't noticed it before, but the walls had several paints that depicted people in pain."What is with this guy?" She asked herself, before taking a random turn, deciding not to follow the map. After walking around for a while. Trying to get familiar w

''You have to escape!'' A female face rushed at October in her dream."Who are you?" October asked, trying to run after her, but found that she was stuck in one place."Leave, you have to go!" The female said.Even though she tried to hide, October could still see that she was covered in blood and crying."You have to leave, please. I'm begging you to leave. Take me with you when you do,'' She cried, holding onto October's hand.''How do I leave?'' October asked.''The gate, the gate, is the key. The key is in the rose garden. Leave the gate open when you go, they all have to escape. Help us, save us.'' The voice faded in and out.''But, I can't go there,'' October responded."Yes, you can. They aren't always watching. Escape and take me with you,'' The voice said before fading. October looked around the clouded space, not able to see an inch before her face. She spun around in a panic, wondering how she got there and how to leave. Until an almost deafening buzzing sound rang out in
