Maxine’s POV Playgrounds. Playgrounds are a great part of childhood. This place give joy and excitement to the young boys and girls that climb, slide and explore. Adler and I were one of them. After classes, we always play in the nearest playground in their village and the most familiar thing about it is the swings. Today, Adler asked me to meet up with him in the playground. As soon as we came, we sat on the swings that is annoyingly creaking as the chains move back and forth. The air was cold and wind was strong. There are four children playing with a ball, a tall boy eating sandwich, and three girl sitting on the ground to make sandcastles. The Yaru stone are a kind of heirloom given to the Alpha of the pack. The Den, Wayne, Holmes and Hendrix packs have different Yaru stone. The color of the stone depends on the Alpha’s eyes colors. Gray for Den, Blue for Wayne, Purple for Holmes and red for Hendrix. Yaru stone have powers. Usually, werewolves can detect each other presence even if they stand in long distance. Alphas have keen senses than other ranks in the packs. However, if someone, even an Alpha will hold the Yaru stone, other werewolves won’t detect him.
