“Chandler’s father.”

My voice echoed around the place. And when the stares went to my side, goosebumps ran down on my spine.

Swiftly, I remembered the conversation that Chandler and I had before.

[“Even when you are just a human or werewolf, someone would go after your life.”

“The person who will try to kill me. Who is him?”

“The elder of the pack. My father.”]

The red-haired guy named Isaac is serving Chandler’s father. Thus, I am so certain that this old man standing before us and staring at me might be the one who wanted me dead.

My eyes widened in sheer horror. Not only I met him face to face but I dared spoke his identity which will make me suspicious. As my heart pounded wildly against my chest, I was immobilized like a frozen statues. I lowered my gaze, only to see my knees turning like jellies. My lips parted but no air came in or out.

“Good evening, my son,” the old man spoke.

Unable to breathe in ease, I peeked at Chandler. He glanced at me and mouthed, [“Go.”]
