Groaning awake her eyes fluttered open. Blinking away the fuzzy cloud over her eyes she tried to bring her hand over to help relieve the strain in her eyes, but something prevented her from doing so. Looking over at her hand she saw a larger, much rougher hand desperately clinging to hers. Looking up to the owner of the hands she froze at the full, head of dark hair sitting atop the bed. Although his face was out of view she easily recognized the man. That familiar warmth his hand brought, the large frame hunched over with slow steep breaths rising and falling at each breath he took.
