On the floor next to the three pups, two men were sitting. Rayvin recognised Logan. He was sitting and playing with the pup that looked to be a little older. She assumed it was his daughter. He had not been able to stop talking about her when they had met last time. As they walked into the room, both men looked up and Rayvin saw the recognition and surprise in Logan’s eyes. “Sammie?” he said, getting up from the floor, taking the pup with him.
