Lahat ng Kabanata ng A night with the Alpha King: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

A night with the alpha king******It was nearly midnight and the night sky was picturesque. The moon was glowing yellowy white, loomed large, surrounded by an ethereal glow.the moon shined like a delivery claw in the night sky.I could hear clearly the sound of my footsteps when I was running in the woods.i was running so fast as my feet could carry me but it seemed like I wasn't trying at all,I tripped upon a rock and I fell down, blood gushing out of my little feet. I looked at the wolf above me,it was baring its teeth at me.I didn't want to admit it but I was scared for the first time in my life.who would have thought that I would have ended up in this situation.i shouldn't have sneaked out of the castle.I closed my eyes and said my last prayers waiting for the wolf to eat me but nothing happened.I felt a thick liquid splash on me and I opened my eyes immediately to see the wolf dead on the ground and a handsome man standing before me.My heart skipped a beat,I have never seen a

He bent his head low in shame,I could see the victorious smile in Amelia's face.I didn't know hated me to the extent of sleeping with the man I love.I feel like my heart is being ripped out,it's gut wrenching like a slap in the face.my lips began to tremble,i could feel my eyes watery.i was lost of words,I covered my mouth with my hands to prevent me from breaking down into tears.I ran out of the room immediately,he didn't bother to chase after me.MARA'S POV.I was surprised to see Nika running out of the room like something was chasing her.she didn't even bother to wait for us.I wondered what might have happened to her,I looked at my co maid and we chased after her but it was too late, she ran into her room locking the door behind her.I thought she wanted to talk to the king and queen. What happened in the room? What did Amelia do to her?I have never seen Nika acting this way since I began to serve her."My princess"I called, knocking on the door but she didn't open the door.I gues

In the attic which was converted to a painting room by Raphael.when he visited the castle back then he was young, the king had gifted him the room where he would always paint,he had taught Nika how to paint too. This attic held so much memories about him and Nika.He was at peace with himself whenever he was here,he loved painting and painting was the only thing he had control of,he was free,he can do whatever he wants with his painting. He stared at the drawing before him and he became sad.he couldn't fight for their love. His father had forced him into agreeing to marry the first princess in order to be the next king of their Kingdom. The only thing his father was after was power without thinking about his happiness. He refused and even threatened to elope with Nika but his father told him that he can do whatever he wants when he becomes king.he can take Nika back when he becomes king and that's what he will do.he was just waiting for that time to come besides Nika was going nowhere.

Remembering that Nika slapped her,Amelia was filled with rage, she felt disrespected by her.she controlled herself from biting into her neck and sucking the life out of her but she didn't want to free Nika without dealing with her first. She must be taught a lesson for disrespecting her,no one goes Scott free after insulting her.She grabbed Nika's neck,Nika tried to remove her hand on her neck but Amelia's hold on her kept on tightening whenever she struggled.Amelia was a vampire and had more strength when compared to her.she was sure her neck had turned red at this point.Amelia's sharp nails dung into her neck,Nika felt an excruciating pain as blood trickled down from her neck to Amelia's hand.At the sight of blood, Amelia's red eyes turned darker, she was thirsty now.Nika knew this was a sign of danger, Amelia was not an ordinary vampire but a royal blooded vampire, she gathered up strength and pushed Amelia away from her,she tried to run but Amelia was faster as a vampire she was

Nika was silent as she waited for her father to speak.ever since he told about sleeping with the Alpha king of Northcrest Kingdom, she couldn't proudly call him father again."I just want to let you know that we are still your family and we love you no matter what happens, I know you felt betrayed about what happened but I had no other choice,I am a king but I have to listen to my subjects too before anything,I am sorry that Raphael was taken away from you but I know that you will find happiness in another man, just know that I and your mother loves you so much"he said to her.Nika could feel anger rising inside of her,how can he say that they care about her after they made it obvious from their actions that she was never their priority."I don't need your apology, your majes..ty"she said, stressing the majesty."I am not dumb and I know what you are trying to do, maybe your conscience is hurting you, that's why you are apologizing to make yourself look good""Andronika!"came her mother'
