Semua Bab Fake Fiancee: Bab 11 - Bab 20

Author's POV When Eden was out for doing the asked, Laura was about to open her mouth but one glance from Damien kept her lips sealed. Damien took a few strides and stood near the window wall seeing down the streets, the bustling city. After one minute or two when he turned to Laura, his look was as cold as ever, "What did you do?" "Damien, I.." Laura started but with the look getting colder, she corrected herself, "Mr. Etheridge, I didn't do anything." "In that case.." Damien's words got interrupted when the door pushed open and Eden entered the cabin. He waited for Eden to say something or at least stay there but all she did was leave from there. He didn't stop her though. He turned to the tray with two cups of coffee. One of them he thought for was Eden actually when he asked. Anyways he reached for one and again stood leaning against the window wall as he took a sip. "What's the progress of getting an announcer? You were working on that." Damien changed the direction of his

Damien's POV This girl's foolish bravery really amuses me sometimes. What does she think of me actually? "Okay. If it's what you want, I don't mind changing it." I said smiling back at Eden. Her smile died down but Mom's face lit up like a kid at a candy store as she said, "That's like my son." Before I could speak up again, Mom spoke up, "Okay. Now let's go downstairs. Everyone is waiting for you." Nodding at her, we two followed her in tow out of my room and then downstairs. After spending a good few moments, having dinner together and all, Eden along with her family were about to leave. As much as they insisted on not bothering us, Mom was stubborn enough to get them to agree to her demands. Though letting them go by our cars was enough, Mom asked me and Nate to drop them off. So, obviously Eden was with me in my car as I trailed behind the car, Nate was driving other members of Eden's family and her friends home. Breaking the silence and getting things normal, I thought of

The sun rays flickered through the curtains and fell on her face. Eden stirred in her sleep and turned to the other side as she tried to fall asleep again. But the throbbing headache didn't let her. Still, she tried to keep her eyes shut, praying the headache to go down soon. But just after a few minutes when she felt the warmth of the unfamiliar comfy comforter as well as the bed, she snapped open her eyes only to find herself in an unfamiliar place. She sat up immediately as her eyes traveled all over the place on their own. The bed as well as the room was empty except for her. Her throbbing headache was long forgotten as she looked all around the gigantic room once again. She tried to remember how she ended up here as she came out of the comforter and got down from the bed immediately. Last night she was at the club with Cassandra and Brenda and then she picked a random stranger. She danced with him and then... Her eyes immediately trailed down at herself. Her very own dress fro

Damien's POV When I saw Eden getting close to the only person I hated the most on the earth, I stood glued to my place for a few moments. Tristan Hoult. The heir of Hoult Enterprise as well as a billionaire playboy. I thought of Eden to be of a different type when she stood her ground in front of me, not falling for me, for my looks or my status. The girl beside me who was trying to call dibs on me from the moment I entered here, was still saying something seductively but my gaze stayed rooted on the dance floor as they walked there. I handled it till I couldn’t anymore. Nate and Julian were waiting for me in the VIP lounge. I knew I should just reach them and spend the night likewise, drinking one of my favorite brands and then.. My thought got paused when I turned to the dance floor again. The faces of Eden and Tristan were getting close. With anticipation, I seethed in anger. Before I could think much, pushing off the girl who was clinging to me, I had ascended the stairs and

As much as Eden tried to hide her teary eyes from Damien, he had already seen it clear. And a not so wanted feeling settled in his guts. Damien drove roughly all the way to his penthouse as the same thoughts crossed his mind. He shouldn't have asked her the question not at least when she had already answered the question in front of her parents. Not when she was still trying to meet his irrelevant demand. But he knew Hoult. If he had taken it this far to throw it open to him, he wasn't joking or something. And the way he had seen Eden approaching him, she would gladly accept him most probably. Eden never seemed to give a damn about him. So, there was no way she approached him being jealous of seeing him with a girl. He couldn't be the reason behind her behavior from that night. Did Eden just fall for Hoult at first sight? Did she? But he was also a billionaire playboy just like him. Then? Just like she said at their first meeting he was not good for her. Did she mean it then!!
