Nyx pov The further Adria and I ventured into the forest, the more I felt him. My father was indeed responsible for this darkness. I can't believe Adria figured that out so quickly yet had not sensed the darkness my soul carries. She only sees the light which is confusing to me. I glance down at her and her markings are glowing brightly. Her eyes meet mine and she grins slightly. I squeeze her hand reassuringly, knowing she can sense my father surrounding us.
