Prologue

It was a sunny Tuesday. I was lying on one of the concrete benches by our university's field. It is almost three in the afternoon. There is only one hour remaining before the classes are over.I was busy scrolling through my TikTok's for you page while I busied myself with chewing a gum.I was laughing my ass out when I realized that the sun's rays were not directly hitting me and the sting on my skin had subsided. I looked up right away after putting my phone down.I caught a glimpse of Morris' typical face—a serious one—in an upside-down direction. He was gazing down at me while holding an umbrella."Do you think you're on a beach?" he questioned me.I got up from where I was lying and rolled my eyes at him. I threw a glance at Morris as I combed my hair using my fingers."What are you doing here?" I asked. He pushed the umbrella's button so that it could fold. He again turned to face me."Did you cut classes again?" his brow shot up as he asked me that question.I retorted in a def

I was really, extremely bored while Morris was busy driving to the bar he was pertaining to. I really want to take a nap, but I feel like I'm being so rude if I will just let Morris do his business. "I guess we should eat first. It looks like we're heading to Mars. This is taking us so long!" I noticed. Morris chuckled, then asked where I wanted to eat. "Let's just go to McDonald's. I don't want to eat a heavy meal since I want to drink." Morris pulled over when we saw the nearest McDonald's. We immediately got out of the car and went straight to the line at the counter. We decided to just eat dine-in and not to have a drive-thru since Morris would have a hard time eating if we chose the latter one. "Look for a table. I will order," Morris said. I turned to look at the entire fast food place; the area wasn't particularly crowded; it was just in between. Even if I don't look for a table right now, I am sure that we will have a table. "There's a lot of tables, don't worry, it’s

Morris and I led Tasha while going out of the bar. The chickens were already crowing at the time we thought that we should go home. Morris stopped walking, so I also stopped, I looked at him with questioning eyes. "I'll just carry Tasha. It's more difficult for me when we drag her like this." He said, removing Tasha's arms from around our necks. He carried her, bridal style. I fumbled for his car key in his pocket so I could go ahead and open it. I got to the parking lot first. I even caught up with Vivian, who was carried by Gino in the van that they brought. "Can she still come to classes later?" I asked him. He smiled and turned to face me, "Maybe not. I'll just give her notes and then I'll make an excuse letter for her," he answered. My left brow arched as I sensed some shit named love. I shook my head. "Alright, drive safely then," I said. The others also waved, and the driver started the van. Just as they were leaving, Morris arrived carrying Tasha. I slid open the back

Annoyed, I was tying Tasha's hair. How, here she is, sitting down on the bathroom floor, hugging the toilet, and almost letting out everything in her internal organs. "Fuck... it's like I can still taste my food from last night," she whispered. My face crumbled as I rubbed her back. She vomited again after poking her own throat. "What the hell did you even drink?" I asked, wondering. We haven't been here for two hours but here she is, vomiting immediately. "I don't fucking know! I think that is a spiked drink!" she murmured. As I exited the cubicle and made my way to my bag, which was in the lavatory, I noticed two other women entering the comfort room. They were almost in the same situation as us, one of them was visibly drunk as her friend helped her. Tasha and the new girl were vomiting together. I was busy digging wet wipes out of my purse when the other girl leaned into the lavatory next to me. "I like your lipstick. What's that?" she smirked. I laughed, "Oh, it's Chanel'

My eyes remained closed even though I heard Morris asking me where I was from."She threw up in the gutter. She said she didn't like it in the bathroom," Tasha answered for me.I think my lips were swollen, and they stung so badly that I held them firmly.I groggily opened my eyes and searched for my phone, I opened the camera and looked at my lips.Shit?! He bit my lips! There's a cut!I took a deep breath. I saw Tasha turn her head a little towards me in the backseat.I opened my eyes again when I saw my phone lit up.
