Force

Morris and I led Tasha while going out of the bar. The chickens were already crowing at the time we thought that we should go home.

Morris stopped walking, so I also stopped, I looked at him with questioning eyes.

"I'll just carry Tasha. It's more difficult for me when we drag her like this." He said, removing Tasha's arms from around our necks. He carried her, bridal style. I fumbled for his car key in his pocket so I could go ahead and open it.

I got to the parking lot first. I even caught up with Vivian, who was carried by Gino in the van that they brought.

"Can she still come to classes later?" I asked him.

He smiled and turned to face me, "Maybe not. I'll just give her notes and then I'll make an excuse letter for her," he answered.

My left brow arched as I sensed some shit named love. I shook my head.

"Alright, drive safely then," I said.

The others also waved, and the driver started the van. Just as they were leaving, Morris arrived carrying Tasha.

I slid open the backseat and helped Morris lay Tasha down there. He also took a piece of plastic from the dashboard and put it over Tasha's ear.

"That will also be removed," I commented.

He gave me a quick glance before turning back to Tasha. He now sat her down and fastened her seatbelt. Morris also grabbed his garter headband and knotted it to the ends of the plastic bag before placing it on Tasha's head.

"Do engineers really good at improvising things?" I asked while laughing.

Morris stood up properly and closed the door. He took a handkerchief from his pants pocket and wiped his own sweat.

"Is Tasha heavy?" I asked and helped him brush his hair off his forehead.

His forehead creased before he pushed aside some of my hair.

"Are those kiss marks?" he asked.

I stopped and checked myself in the side mirror. I really did have a kiss mark on the left side of my neck.

"You made out again in a restroom, didn't you?" Morris asked again.

I looked at him and leaned against the door of his passenger seat.

"Just once," I replied.

He kept his gaze on me while wiping his sweat. I took a deep breath.

"I only knew a few of the guys tonight. They're just seven," I remarked again.

Morris walked up to me and gave me a little tap on the forehead before going to the driver's seat.

"Come on in, I'll take you home."

I didn't want to get up the following morning, but since I still had classes to go to, I had to. I think I only slept for three hours.

My brain was still not working properly when I saw Morris in the foyer of my condo building. He was holding a can of soft drinks.

"Hurry up before Tasha throws up on my car." He said before turning his back on me and walking away.

I followed him. I opened the backseat door and got in there.

"I feel like my head has been drilled," Tasha cried in the front seat.

Morris hopped into the driver's seat as well and handed me a Wendy's burger, "Let's put some nails on it," he said, referring to Tasha's head.

I just laughed while opening the burger. Tasha gave Morris a stern look.

"You know what, if you hadn't interrupted my sleep in my condo, I wouldn't have come to classes today and sacrificed like this," Tasha said again.

When Morris started driving, he glanced at the person sitting next to him. "If I don't pick you up, you will be dropped from architecture because of your attendance," he argued.

I just leaned my back on my seat and enjoyed my burger. For sure, Morris will just lecture Tasha. That's why I didn't let Morris reach my unit. Maybe he'd just pour hot water on me so I could just wake up.

The two eventually shut their mouths after their long bickering. My brows furrowed when I saw Tasha had messaged me.

From: Tasha Veda

are you up for a drink later?

I looked at her in the rear mirror with questioning eyes, but the crazy bitch merely winked at me.

To: Tasha Veda

ugh, another drinking session. we're dead again, morris will have his sermons again

From: Tasha Veda

that’s okay at least we’re drunk again

I chuckled when I saw her reply. Morris looked at me and raised a brow.

"Oh? Why?" I asked cockily.

"Who are you texting again?" he asked with a frown.

"My boyfriend, why? You want to join us too so you can laugh?"

He winced and rolled his eyes at me. He pulled over before getting out of his car.

Tasha and I stepped out of the car together. I could feel the pain throughout my entire body as if I had been beaten. I feel weak. Tasha was clinging onto my arm while her head was bowed down. I'm not sure if I should be glad that I don't have a hangover that makes my head hurt, but my body hurts after drinking or if it's better that I just have a headache.

We walked Tasha to the CAFA building before Morris accompanied me to our building. We even saw Vivian leaning her head against the adjacent wall. She looked like she was spacing out.

After Morris led me to my classroom, I rested my chin on my palm while I waited for our professor. I really can't stand this routine, something exciting or thrilling has to happen in my every day.

I was having a pork cutlet by myself for lunch when Oscar, one of my recent ex-boyfriend, approached me.

He dropped his tray with some force, so some of its sauce splashed on my clothes. I looked up at him, irritated.

"What bullshit news is this that I am hearing?! You kissed someone at the bar in Norton?!" he shouted.

I looked around. There were a few people who looked, but they eventually didn't pay attention to us. Maybe they're used to it since for the last two years there's always been a scene that I am involved with.

"What now?" I answered flatly.

He sat down on the chair in front of me, and as he nearly pulled his own hair out of frustration, I could see it visibly in his eyes. His white neck and face were also crimson red.

Oscar is handsome. He's tall, has a fair complexion, with a pointed nose and thin lips. He also has those pairs of foxy eyes. His hair is semi-shaven and his body is a bit bulky. Maybe because he's a basketball player. It's just that the reason why I don't like him—that's why we broke up last week—is that he's forcing me to have sex with him. He almost laid his damn hand on me. Fortunately, Peter and my other friends came.

"You're cheating on me!" he said with accusation in his voice.

My ears rang because of his accusations. I raised my brow. At most, I don't want to be accused of being a cheater.

"I'm not. We're over. Since last week."

"But I didn't agree with that shit! We both decided to enter into a relationship, so we should both decide if we're going to end it or not! Not only because one of us wants out!" he shouted.

I leaned my back in my chair and crossed my arms over my chest, "And what would you do? Force me like how you forced me five days ago? And if you didn't convince me, what? You'll slap me?" I asked.

His jaw clenched and his hand balled into a fist. I don't know what he doesn't understand about 'let's break up'. I assume he's not that stupid to not understand that?

"We're not done yet," he said.

I rolled my eyes and smirked. I was about to speak when suddenly someone pulled Oscar by his collar.

I looked up and saw that it was Robin, one of my blockmates. Behind him were some members of the university's swimming team.

Their bodies are almost the same: same height and same body build. Robin looked Oscar in the eye, as if he was trying to scare him.

"Who the fuck are you?" Oscar asked arrogantly.

Robin kept his stare at Oscar, "Kimo doesn't want anything from you anymore, right? Do you know what you're doing is harassment?" Robin asked back.

Oscar chuckled mockingly and then fixed his attention on me, "Who is this? New guy you'll play?" he asked as he pointed at Robin. "Bro, did you know that she kissed someone last night at Norton? I don't even know what the real score is between her and Cabello!" he adds more.

My face was wrinkled. Why was Morris suddenly brought up? He's chilling somewhere! He's busy with his math problems that needed to be solved!

Robin didn't say a word, maybe Oscar thought he believed him so he laughed again. The fool was not satisfied. He added more nonsense shit.

"We don't even know how many guys she has, bro? We're being played; she's entertaining us at the same time," he tsked.

"Then stop bothering her," Robin said seriously.

Oscar chewed his lip before giving me a quick glance. His eyes returned to Robin, then to the swimming team.

He took Robin's hand off his collar and started walking to leave.

"You left your food here. Poor you, maybe you don't have anything for lunch!" one of Robin's members teased him. But Oscar, though, kept moving forward without looking back.

I sighed. I had just lost my appetite.

Robin turned his head to me before patting my shoulder, "Got you, fam. If he still bothers you, just tell me," he said.

I smiled and thanked him.

Tasha has gotten us a Grab car, and I'm sitting there feeling annoyed by what she's saying. She is angry because of what happened earlier in the cafeteria.

"That thick face of his! Oscar is really annoying. His timing is always when I'm not around! If I'm just exactly there, I will stab him with a protractor!" she said irritated, even screamed.

I'm the one who's embarrassed for her since the Grab driver has been glancing at us for a while. Maybe he's starting to be scared.

We got to the bar we had chosen, and she was still talking about how annoyed she was with Oscar.

"Let him be! He must have been choking to death with his own saliva! You've been talking about him since earlier!" I scolded her.

"It's because it's so annoying! I should have given him a sex toy for his last birthday! He needs to touch some grass! He's so green!" she shouted.

She finished what she was saying while holding the door of the bar. I think she intends to replace the guard who opens the door for the customers.

"Calm down, will you?" I scolded her again.

She took a deep breath and went straight to the bar counter to order a cocktail.

"We're not going to get drunk today; Morris isn't here," she promised.

My eyebrow arched, as if she could keep her word.

I really know that it won't come true, because there's Tasha, dry-humping the guy she met about ten minutes ago.

As for me, I was busy flirting with the man I was dancing with for a while. I can also feel something in between him.

I chuckled. Damn that boner. It's really nice to have them with my charms.

"Are you tired? Do you want to go to my place?" he whispered.

I didn't answer him right away since I felt someone else dancing behind me. When I turned around, I saw a pair of chinky eyes staring onto mine.

His jaw is also tense while looking at me. I can also feel his light hold on both of my arms.

I guess I like him more, huh?
