I was really, extremely bored while Morris was busy driving to the bar he was pertaining to. I really want to take a nap, but I feel like I'm being so rude if I will just let Morris do his business.

"I guess we should eat first. It looks like we're heading to Mars. This is taking us so long!" I noticed.

Morris chuckled, then asked where I wanted to eat.

"Let's just go to McDonald's. I don't want to eat a heavy meal since I want to drink."

Morris pulled over when we saw the nearest McDonald's.

We immediately got out of the car and went straight to the line at the counter. We decided to just eat dine-in and not to have a drive-thru since Morris would have a hard time eating if we chose the latter one.

"Look for a table. I will order," Morris said.

I turned to look at the entire fast food place; the area wasn't particularly crowded; it was just in between. Even if I don't look for a table right now, I am sure that we will have a table.

"There's a lot of tables, don't worry, it’s okay," I answered.

Morris chose a rice meal for him, while I settled on a burger and fries.

"A total of 298 pesos, ma'am," the cashier said.

I handed her a 500 peso bill right away after taking it out of my wallet. Our order had already been placed. Morris lifted and carried it while I waited for my change.

We were silently digging our food when I got disturbed because of Tasha's phone call.

"Kimora! You should follow me here in Norton! There's a newly opened bar here; the place is so nice!" she shouted.

I grimaced. I looked at my wristwatch; it was just thirty minutes after six, but Tasha's already sounded so drunk. The party also seems to be lively since I can hear the loud music from there.

"Norton? That's pretty far!" I grumble.

That explains why the road Morris and I were heading down was nonstop. This bitch is in Norton. It is almost three hours away from where our condos are located.

"Come on, come here! I have someone to introduce to you! He's in flying school! Tall and smells nice," she added and giggled.

"Hmm, as if..." I paused, "As if I'll decline. Morris and I are on the way. Wait for us!" I then laughed.

I saw Morris in front of me shaking his head. I just rolled my eyes at him.

I hurried Morris to finish his meal as soon as Tasha hung up the phone. I was intrigued by the man Tasha was going to introduce to me. He's in flying school. Can he also bring me to cloud nine?

Our travel to the bar, Tasha was telling us, was still reached for about almost an hour. I had already exited Morris' car, even though he hadn't yet parked it properly.

Tasha was gazing intently at each passing car as she stood at the entrance of the bar, looking like she was looking for someone. I got closer to her immediately.

"Oh? Where's the guy you're telling me about?" I asked, laughing.

She turned to my side with a huge grin plastered on her lips.

"Change of plans. I won't introduce you to him anymore. He has cheating tendencies. His girl created a scene a while ago," she answered.

I winced. Fuck cheaters.

Morris caught us at the door of the bar. Tasha immediately invited us to go inside.

As soon as we entered the bar, dancing lights and loud music from the band that was performing were the things that welcomed us. I saw some familiar faces on the nearby couch; almost all of them were Tasha's blockmates.

We immediately went there and greeted them.

"Oh, most of you are here, huh? Did anyone attend your classes earlier? I hope there is and that not all of you were absent," I joked.

They all laughed and gave me a shot. I smelled the liquor in the shot glass and realized it was Black Label, I drank it right away. The hotness of the liquor rubbed off on my throat and stomach, but I didn't wince. I had a glass of cold water right away after that.

"Lemon?" Ralph asked, Tasha's blockmate. I shook my head to a no.

"Salt?" asked Jenny, also Tasha's blockmate. I once more shook my head.

"You're really pretty good at drinking! No need for sissy goods," Gino commented with a laugh.

I just laughed and sat next to Tasha. Morris also sat next to me.

Ralph handed Morris a shot too, but the latter declined. He's the designated driver. His system mustn't have had any liquor spirit.

Even though an hour has not yet passed, we are already on our second bottle. Maybe because of our number, there are probably too many of us. That's why the Black Label ran out immediately.

"Fuck! Who's the one who suggested that we should drink like this? Then we should have drank in my condo instead. The shots are too fast!" Tasha complained.

Of all, Tasha was the one who was most readily made woozy and intoxicated by drink. However, she is also the one who is the fastest to sober up.

Her blockmates that were left here on the couch laughed. Some of them were already on the dance floor, and others were already on the couches of others.

"Let us play some games! To sober up!" Vivian suggested.

"And what is that? Never have I ever? Truth or dare? Is there nothing new?" I said, laughing.

"Having the most guys,” Vivian responded while laughing too. She's just too wasted at this point.

I shook my head, "It's too early. The guys that are worth it are still not here," I answered.

"Kimo... you're really used to this."

"Woah! You're really good at checking guys!"

Tasha's blockmates continue drinking. Since I noticed that my left hand was numb, I stopped drinking for a while.

I whispered something to Morris.

"Come with me, I want some strawberry shake," I said. He nodded and helped me stand up.

Although I was no longer walking straight, my mind is still clear. Morris accompanied me until I could order what I wanted.

"Are you still going to drink after this?" Morris asked.

I let out a shoulder shrug. Since my body is numb and my head is light, I had planned to get sober first. If I keep drinking, I'll end up really drunk and pass out. I won't have the sanity to go home anymore.

Morris also ordered an iced tea for himself. We were the only people at the bar since almost everyone else was on the dance floor, if not on the couch.

I looked at my watch again to see what time it was, but because of the neon lights that were on and off, I couldn't make out much of it. Shit! I get even more dizzy!

I squeezed my eyes shut and sipped the shake once again.

"It's only 11 p.m.," I heard Morris say.

I nodded. I was about to have another sip on my shake when someone bumped into me, causing me to throw it at Morris since he was standing in front of me.

“Fuck!”

“Shit.”

"You're so stupid, Jael!" I heard a shout from behind me.

I wiped Morris's shirt while I glared angrily back at them.

I saw two men. One was so drunk that he could barely stand. I think he was the one who bumped into me. The other guy was holding the other in his arms and it almost looks like he was dragging him away.

"Sorry, miss. This friend of mine seems like he is walking while asleep," the one who seems more sober apologized.

My dark gaze was still fixed on them. When the intoxicated guy put his hand on my shoulder, my forehead began to furrow even more.

"What if we are just lice in Mama Mary's hair?" he asked.

To be honest, I really want to punch him.

His friend winced and removed his hand from my shoulder, pulling his arm away from me.

"I'm really sorry, miss. I will just get you another shake. Boss-"

I stopped him just as he was about to call the bartender.

"No need, but what are we going to do about his shirt? His clothes are covered in shake spill," I asked gruffly.

His gaze then turned to Morris. They were almost the same height, maybe only an inch smaller than Morris. Physically, it's the same. Not skinny, but not bulky either.

"I have an extra shirt in my car. Wait for me here and I will hand it over. I'll just give him to my friends." He said and began to drag his friend, who was still whispering, what if humans really came from monkeys? Do I accept that?

I turned to Morris again and helped him wipe off his clothes. Damn, he's wearing white.

"Of all colors, why are you wearing white?" I asked him.

"Is there a dress code?" he sarcastically remarked.

Morris and I were still arguing about his white shirt when the guy came back with a plain black shirt in his hand.

"Again, I'm sorry. My friend was just a little tipsy," he said after handing over the clothes.

"That doesn't look like a bit tipsy to me," Morris remarked.

The guy laughed, "Yes, he is really drunk. Anyway, I'll go first. I'm really sorry."

When the guy left, I went back to the couch since I told Morris that he should get dressed.

I have seen Tasha and Vivian who were talking very seriously.

"I don't think so! I honestly think it’s Warren!" it's Vivian.

Tasha snorted, "She doesn't want him! She says he's too clingy. I think it's Dave."

"Well, didn't she mention that he was full of bullshits, didn't she?"

"What are you talking about?" I asked and sat down next to them.

"We found a trend on TikTok! Among all of your exes, which one is the one that you'll accept again with open arms?" Tasha shouted drunkenly.

I raised my eyebrow. Warren and Dave are both my exes, huh? What about them?

"We wonder who's yours," said Vivian.

I laughed. Yeah, who might be mine?

"Isn't it Inigo?" I ask.

They both snorted.

"You didn't even last for three days," Tasha remarked.

"Could it be Brandon?" Vivian guessed.

"Who is Brandon?" I asked.

"Idiot! That one PolSci student!" Tasha shouted.

I have my forehead furrowed. I don't have a PolSci ex!

"The one you met at the bar and then threw up on you?" Vivian said in an asking tone.

I winced. I remember him now. "We are never a thing!"

They continued to guess until Morris came and sat next to me again.

"Even the smartest person can't answer that, so don't bother wasting your braincells," Morris remarked while laughing.

"Why? For sure there is someone somehow!" Vivian disagreed.

"Yeah right!" Tasha agreed drunkenly.

Morris turned to us and grinned, "Maybe there is, but he hasn't arrived yet," he replied.

I just rolled my eyes and took another shot again.

At around one in the morning, Tasha's blockmates returned to our couch. So we decided to dance as a group. Morris didn't want to at first, but I eventually made him join us.

I knew I was getting close to my limit when we were dancing, and I knew I would later be on the verge of throwing up, so I didn't dance too much.

I was just vibing when I felt some hot presence on my left side. I turned and saw a man dancing on that side.

I faced him and danced with subtle moves since I was really dizzy.

I felt his hand slide around my waist. Instead of pulling me closer to him, he made me turn around. Now, my back is against his chest and his arm is wrapped around my waist while he is dancing with me.

I saw Tasha kissing someone over to the side. Morris was also looking at me while also dancing with someone; the girl almost clung onto his neck.

The guy on my back kept dancing. I also felt him kissing my shoulder. Since I am wearing an off-shoulder top, I can feel the heat of his breath.

I cocked my head to my left, so he was given more access to what he was doing. He hugged me tighter and his kisses went up to my neck.

"You're hot," he whispered in my ear before kissing the back of it.

I smirked, “I know right.”

He chuckled before he bit my ear. His kisses returned to my jaw and neck.

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" he asked.

I turned to face him and encircled my arms around his neck. He's taller than me; I'm tall for a girl, but I'm only up to his shoulders.

His eyes became softer as he bit his lip. I brought myself even closer to him; I leaned forward before kissing his neck.

I left some marks before whispering.

“No.”
