Serena ran like the wind towards Kendrick's company. She didn't teleport because she wanted to save her energy and be ready in case a fight broke out. The castle was utterly magnificent. It was rooted deep into the ground by large pillars studded with jewels. There was a frozen shield surrounding the castle and it shimmered with power as they got closer to it. Serena was awed. If someone had told her that there was an existing kingdom beneath the sea, she would have laughed at the absurdity of it. But here it was before her very eyes. Serena woke up and found herself in a deserted land. She looked around her in panic. She was no longer in Sozai's room. This land was barren, dead trees scattered about. It looked desolated. The sky was dark and dark clouds swirled with the motion of the wind. As far as her eyes could reach, she could only see a long span of sand and dead trees, nothing more. "Sozai",she called.
