Chapter 30: Outcast
All of the graduating students go on a school field trip each semester. It is part of their curriculum to learn about and experience the outside world. The purpose of the trip was to learn while having fun. The university changes the location of the school trip every year. Last year, they went camping in the virgin forest to discover and research various wild animals and trees. The university had intended to send the students to the island this year so they could demonstrate their survival skills. They will receive the essential tools and gear for camping. They are not permitted to bring any electronics, gadgets, or cell phones. They are always safe since a lighthouse tower with guards is keeping watch over them. There is a transmission radio in the tower in case of an emergency, but they are not allowed to interfere with student activities unless it is a life-threatening emergency. A companion must be assigned to them before they board

Chapter 31: Lost
"Edward, stop. Don't do it." Joaquin grabbed his arms and dragged him away from Luis. "Everyone is staring at you. Do not cause a scene, please," he reminded his friend. Edward yelled angrily, "He did it. I know he did it!" His voice is trembling in rage. "He is the reason why Ella is missing." He is pointing at Luis with his index finger. Luis laughed and said, "Tick, tock, the clock is ticking, and in a few hours there will be a high tide," Luis reminded them. Edward felt a flash of irritation when he heard Luis' mockery. He wanted to rip him apart because he knew that Luis did something bad to Ella, and he wanted to get his confession. "Where is she?" he yelled at him. "What did you do to her?" Edward questioned him repeatedly. Luis left a cryptic message rather than responding to Edward's questions. "Can your girlfriend swim well?" He made a mischievous grin.

Chapter 32: Survival of the fittest
The sun's heat was on Edward's face when he awoke. He covered his eyes with his hands so he could view the weather outside the cave and noticed the sun blazing brightly in the clear, blue sky. It was a clear, sunny day. The sky was a pure, brilliant blue, with white cotton candy clouds drifting through it.  Edward was about to get up, but he saw Ella's arm wrapped around his waist. Later, he returned and lay down. She was sleeping as he cast a glance at her face. Even though she is sleeping, he finds it amusing to watch her. When she is sleeping, she appears to be a whole different person, as though she is nicer and more refined than when she is awake. Ella is somewhat rude and boyish. After some time, he sensed Ella waking up gradually and moving. He became anxious and was afraid that she might feel awkward if he was seen watching her. When Ella awoke, Edward pretended to be sleeping. She puts on her goggles while moving gently to

Chapter 33: Heart and Mind
"Edward, I need to tell you something," Ella stated earnestly but with hesitation in her voice. She bit on her bottom lips while tucking her hair behind her ears. "I'm sorry for taking too long to confess to you that I am your..." Ella was ready to say what she had been wanting to say for days when her brother Lucas abruptly barged into the room and cut her off. He searched Ella's room, wondering who she was talking to, and asked her, "Who are you talking to?" Ella was startled to see her brother. "No one," she hastily answered. "I was working on my speech for my English subject," she said as an excuse. Ella has been rehearsing her line in front of the mirror about what she is going to say to Edward when she returns the necklace. She's been trying to tell him so many times that she is the long-lost friend he's been looking for, but she couldn't find the right moment due to unavoidable circumstances.

Chapter 34: One with you
Ella couldn't help but smile as she gazed at the stunning red gown Edward had given her. She had never had new clothes or owned anything new since she was a child. Everything she owns is secondhand or passed down. She gently took the gown from the box and draped it over her while looking at the shop's mirror wall. Ella begins to swirl and dance gracefully around, carrying the gown in a rich, deep crimson shade that brims with a fiery passion. Her eyes sparkled with delight, and her pearly white teeth gleamed as she smiled while watching herself dance in the mirror. "Why don't you give it a try girl?" Bruce proposed it to her. "Go, girl. I'm curious to see how it looks on you "Salome exclaimed with glee. Salome suddenly remembered: "No wonder Edward was asking for your body measurement the other day. I had no idea he was planning to surprise you with a gown as a gift." Ella dashed to the stockroom to

Chapter 35: Joaquin Jimenez
"Slow down," she said, forcing her lips to part from his. "Come on, this isn't the time to play hard to get," he said to her, brushing his lips down to her neck. "I've never made you do anything against your will." He slips his hands down her breast, giving it a gentle squeeze and pinching, sending her wild tremors along her nerves and making her arch her hips towards him. She can feel his bulk rubbing against her body. "Joaquin, please be gentle," she says softly, letting out a gentle moan. Joaquin didn't listen to her plea; he wanted it rough and hard. He placed her hands over his neck and pulled her up, wrapping her legs around his waist. He carried her over to the table and undressed her. He began unbuttoning her blouse, lifting her skirt above her thigh, pulling down her underwear, and tossing it on the ground. "We only have fifteen minutes; let's make the most of it," he to

Chapter 37: Birthday Gift
It was a typical Tuesday afternoon on campus. After they returned from their semester breaks and camping, students were more involved in practical studies than theoretical lectures. They spend the majority of their time in laboratories and workshops. Because the weather is nice this time of year, most of their activities took place outside of the classroom. Ella spent most of her time at the workshop and was busy customizing her motor. She enjoys doodling on the workshops with her bike. For her, it is therapeutic and a stress reliever. While she was busy doodling on her bike, an unexpected guest arrived. "Yoh, four eyes, are you here?" Joaquin yelled at the shop. He searched for Ella but couldn't find her. Ella was working under the bike while lying on the ground. When Ella learned that it was only Joaquin who is looking for her, she decided to ignore him and pretended not to hear him. "Ella, stop hi

Chapter 38: It's the thought that counts!
Ella has been staring at the necklace for hours. She intends to give it to Edward on his birthday; the only question is whether she should wrap it or simply hand it to him. She has a variety of colorful gift wrappers on her bed and is debating which one to use. Some girls would look for an attractive dress to wear, whereas Ella was thinking about what wrapper to use to make the gift look presentable. Her phone rang shortly after she decided to use the metallic red wrapper. When she answered the phone, it was the catering service. They want her to work with them over the weekend because they were hired by a wealthy family for a charitable event. Ella couldn't say no when she learned that the job was for a good cause. She was always eager to participate in events that aided poor people like herself. She accepted the job without hesitation. Ella let out an audible sigh as she stared at the necklace. "Sorry, but duty calls. I suppose you'll be s

Chapter 39: Priorities
Catering services have been in high demand this season, with clients from all over the province taking advantage of the service's good reputation and high trust ratings. Ella's catering job has provided her with a lot of work, and her hectic schedule has prevented her from spending time with her friends or working at the costume shop. She is well compensated and receives numerous tips from the client. If tips were included, her salary for one event would be equivalent to one month's salary from the costume shop. She applied for the law course because she has been saving more money than usual and has decided to pursue the scholarship abroad. She spends more time in the library on campus. She can study, eat, and rest there all at the same time. "I knew you'd be here," Edward said casually. He sat across from her on the opposite side of the table. "I haven't seen you in a while. What happened to you? "he inquired. "I've bee
