The cheering of the crowd greeted her immediately after she stepped her feet in there. She turned around her eyes and she heard murmurs from everywhere, she wondered if they thought she wouldn't hear what they were talking about. "A man's tunics and trousers? That hasn't been heard of before," she heard a voice say from nearby. Ashina palmed her head angrily, she knew that she wasn't supposed to think about what others thought about her but she just couldn't. "Silence," she heard Erik roar, and his voice boomed. Hrolf whose gaze had been fixed on Ashina ever since she walked in withdrew his gaze when his eyes met with Ashina who had been searching around for him. She looked good in the tunics that she was wearing even better than he had imagined. She withdrew her gaze before whispering something to her maid who walked away. "Can our Alpha come down?" One of the elders who were to anchor the content requested. Hrolf stood up to his full length before walking down.He was looking

" What do you think that you are talking about?" Hrolf asked the nanny who had barged in. He stood up abruptly taking large strides toward her, he squinted his eyes while staring straight at her. A glint flashed through his face as he exhilarated softly. "Alpha, Gael is missing" the Nanny repeated with tears streaming down her face, she was trying as hard as she could to keep her emotions in check but she couldn't. She couldn't give an account for whatever it was that had happened, Gael was with her for a second, and the next, she couldn't find him anywhere anymore. " You should know what exactly I have in mind to do to you, don't you?" Hrolf asked as he held her by the neck." Stop it" Ashina rushed forward, when she saw that the maid was almost out of breath, she couldn't allow Hrolf to kill her as she was the only person who would explain what exactly had happened. Hrolf glared at Ashina who had her hand around his. "This isn't what we are supposed to be doing at this point"

Ashina paced up and down the room that she had been left in, praying for the quick arrival of Hrolf and all those who had gone with him to rescue Gael. She regretted all that had happened, she regretted challenging Hrolf to a duel because the outcome wasn't what she had expected. She ran a hand through her long hair which seemed to glister when it came in contact with the moonlight. The moon was full and its rays shone brightly inside the room. "Selina, please, I pray that their mission will be successful, please Selina," Ashina prayed, her gaze fixed on the moon. Her heart hitched when she heard the door being pulled open, she wondered who it was because the door was left open and no one walked in, it piqued her interest and she walked in, she was supposed to be scared but she wasn'tAshina walked toward the door and exhaled sharply before pulling it open. She frowned slightly when she saw no one at the door, she wondered who it was who had pulled the door open. "Healer" a voice

Cassie had held herself from mentioning anything about using Gael Nanny to get him but that doesn't mean that she wasn't going to use her for her gain. She walked as fast as she could toward her room, she had just a destination in her mind and that was the Nanny's room. A smile crept on her face when she thought of what she was going to do, she was going to use all the tools at her disposal and try to get rid of Ashina. Her presence was beginning to disgust her. She wanted Hrolf back, she wanted him back in her life and she was going to use whatever means possible to get him back in her life. She pushed open the door to the Nanny room before stepping inside it. "What exactly do you think that you are doing?" She questioned the Nanny who sat on the bed, packing her clothes into a bag.Cassie frowned when she received no answer and she walked closer to the bed, fuming with anger. "I am sure that you aren't deaf and that you heard me loud and clear," she said to the Nanny who glare

"I knew that I was wrong, Hrolf, I do, I knew I was" she tried explaining but she couldn't find the right word. They couldn't come out no matter how hard she tried. " You cannot even defend yourself" Hrolf chuckled softly." I guess that I was a fool then, I knew you were different, I told you that I haven't felt this way in a while and I would love to grow what I have for you but still you decided to make decisions without consulting me," Hrolf said." You couldn't even talk to me about what it was that I have done wrong, you didn't even think of telling me anything, if I didn't ask, you would have killed me if I let you, wouldn't you?" Hrolf asked angrily. His anger was increasing with each minute that passed and he was regretting, he was regretting everything, he had been a fool and he had been played for a fool also."Hrolf," Ashina called out, her eyes were closed tight and she was trying to muster up the courage to say what she wanted to say. "Don't Ashina, I do not want to l
