Hrolf patted his forehead while hoping that at least it would reduce his head that was aching him at least a little bit. The words of the white owl resonated in his mind and he shook his head to get it out of his mind, there was no way Ashina would hurt him. Anyone else but her, he had this trust in her that she wouldn't especially after they had sorted out their differences. "It is not too late for you to turn back now, you are approaching your doom and the person who would hurt you is closer than you ever anticipated," she had warned him. Hrolf halted in his step taking a look at the passageway that he was walking on, he could feel goosebumps rising on his skin and it meant something. That he was being followed He glanced around but he couldn't see anyone who was walking behind him, he tilted his head to the side while wondering if he had thought wrong, but he knew that his instinct was never wrong He picked up the pace, and he could still feel that presence behind him. "Come

Ashina flicked her hands open as she allowed her hands to wander to the other side of the bed but there was no one there, it was cold which showed that it was devoid of human warmth. She blinked severally as she tried to get the time but she couldn't, she tried to sit upright which she did with so much difficulty, her heart beat fast as she turned to the window and she found out that it was dusk already."Did I sleep for that long?" She questioned under her breath when she glanced outside the window. Her body ached and she felt sore, she felt pain and hissed when another bolt of it washed through her body, she groaned as she thought of what had happened. "Hrolf," she whimpered while glancing around. She was in his room but he was nowhere to be found and it made her suspicious. She recalled what he had said before she had fallen asleep and she exhaled sharply. She didn't want him to regret whatever decision he was going to make, she didn't want him hurt at all and she hoped that he

Ashina yelled out in shock when she felt her body against Hrolf's. She placed a hand on her body in shock while glaring at him after he had let go of her. "You are injured," Hrolf said to her, his gaze fixed on her knee. " Injured? Where?" Ashina asked, running her hands on her body while searching for the spot where she was injured but still, she couldn't find any. "Your knee," Hrolf pointed out to her angrily, he was trying as hard as he could not utter anything that would hurt him or hurt her in the process. "How did this happen?" He pulled her with him, before walking toward his closet. He bent down carefully while flipping through his closet trying to get something for her to put on.He finally found one and he threw it at her."Here, put this on" he instructed her before walking away. He was vexed seeing her skin peeled, he had always loved running his hands on her flawless porcelain skin and now, she had been hurt."Hrolf" Ashina called behind him, but the reply she got was

The sun was high and it was late into the afternoon when Ashina woke up, Hrolf had shut the windows before leaving making sure that she wasn't going to be woken up by even the slightest thing before leaving. She flicked her eyes open when she was greeted with a dark room, devoid still of Hrolf's presence, she bit on her lips as she thought of what she might have done wrong to make him angry but she couldn't think of anything. Her mind was blank and she needed an explanation, she stared at the window before stretching out her arms to push it open slightly, she shut her eyes when the sun rays filtered through, blinding her for a second. "Hrolf was here," she muttered under her breath to herself, she could remember leaving the window wide open before sleeping but now it was closedShe had felt his presence in the room yesterday but she had felt too weak to stand up. She placed a hand on her tummy as he heard it growl out loud and even when it was, she couldn't get over that churning f

Ashina ran as fast as her legs could carry her, not stopping to take a look back at the pack house, she could still remember the way back to Zeeb's pack properly and if she wasn't wrong, she would be able to get there soon. Her chest heaved up and down as she picked up the pace not minding the thorns that pricked underneath her feet, she didn't have the time to wait, she couldn't afford such luxury, not at this time when she knew that soon Erik would know about her running away from the pack and he will send guards after her.She halted when she heard a screeching sound that brought her heart to the ground, she gulped in her spittle as she glanced around, wondering what was, she was having a rethink, the field might be filled with dangerous animals which wouldn't hesitate to tear her apart and she was beginning to have doubts if she was right about coming hereHrolf wouldn't like her with him, but she didn't care, she wasn't going to let him go through harm's way alone, they had a lo
