CHAPTER 20
He turned his shoulders to make sure Sven and Strybjorn were still there. He could make out their dark silhouettes in the darkness and a dead deer still stuck between them. Looking ahead, he saw Kjeland making his way through the darkness. If he can help it, he won't lose any of his warriors except the claws. It doesn't seem very likely now. In the months since Hank's death, his comrades have grown stronger and stronger. They filled them with constant training and exercise, making them stronger, leaner, and faster than any Ragnar Islander knew. He himself felt twice, even ten times more capable than when he came here. He was thinking. In the months that followed, he learned what had shocked him. He could identify all the edible plants and animals on the surrounding hills. He knew shelter and fire. It can even build a small igloo out of winter snow protected from skin-to-the-bone ice storms. He knew how to heal wounds and frostbite. He learned hand-to-hand combat and is now as skilled

Ragnar ran forward. He jumped on the sofa and jumped over the table. The weight of his body and the momentum of his jumps carried him into battle. He grabbed Mikawa Ball's neck with his hands and led him to the floor. Mika's head hit the hall floor hard. Ragnar crouched, jumped up, and turned as Hedo. With incredible speed, the candidate rose from his chair. Ragnar grabbed him under the chin with his legs. From the moment he found his feet in bandages, he wiggled his toes. With the force of the shovel, Vol's head flipped back and he fell backwards onto another table, spilling food and porridge everywhere. "You can't stand still like that!" said a bewildered newcomer Ragnard didn't know jumping over the table and charging at him. "No, stripes?" You growled and slapped Ragnar's chin. The newcomer's friends obviously didn't like it and attacked her. With a wild smile, Ragnar looked around at his new enemy and felt a cold wind hit his back. The door to the long hall opened and Ragnar hea

Sergeant Haakon hides in Ragnar's clutches. Ragnar felt weakened by his giant size. A strange light flashed in the chief's eyes, but his expression was almost incomprehensible. You may have thoughts that you want to kill, or you may have other thoughts. "Well done." he finally said “At least you did what you had to do to get here. You all survived and have no shame. You can learn very little from Russwick, and you're only as strong as your bad body allows.”Now the alley is closed to the boss. It was new. His words indicate a change in their status. Perhaps they will join the other claws left behind. This surprised Ragnar. None of these pirates returned. His heart hit the wall. "You have the option to continue here." Haakon continued. "Don't think it will be easy. Wherever you go, a day in Russvik will feel like a cozy litt

The valleys deepened, the incomprehensible depths were black and terrifying, the mountains higher. Now the rock giants have made the peaks around Russvik look like hills that don't deserve to be called mountains. The mountains that ran between them were like walls built by the gods to ward off demons, and they were truly huge. Their size was astounding. Locked in place with lightning speed, they raced across long, dark valleys filled with debris and glaciers that glistened like frozen rivers. The shadow of the speeding aircraft fell over the frozen lake and disappeared into the clouds below the high cliffs. As if the chariots of these gods were trying to ascend through the air, the thunder grew louder as they ascended the mountain. Then the airship went up the steep slope, and when the ship was sick, Ragnar saw it. The greatest mountain, the greatest mountain he has ever seen or seen, is probably the greatest mountain in the history of creation. . It leaped over all the other peaks li

Ranek led them to two caves at the edge of the mountain. There was a strange noise inside. A double-headed eagle insignia engraved over the two holes. In his claws was a disc engraved with Russ's wolf head crest. A fluorescent arrow pointing up is drawn next to an opening. It is shown next to another arrow below..Now he saw how the gods lived, and it was a wonderful sight."Get in." Lanex said, pointing to the left entrance with a hand wrapped in metal. Kill passed without hesitation. When he was out of sight, there was a scream. The rest froze there. Ragnar said it was a trap? Was there a big fountain there? Was it the Morkai Gate? Were they led to the slaughter like sheep? There was no way. Was it some kind of magical sacrifice? He couldn't guess. What he saw here was beyond his understanding. 'go!' Lanek ordered. Despite the fear that gripped his heart, Ragnar decided that he should trust the old wizard. He was furious. He could only feel the empty air beneath his feet as he bled

Ragnar knew it was the original offer and some of him liked it. The red-robed warrior offered Rus eternal blood, as promised to the heroes who followed him. They also knew that if they participated in their rituals and wore red armor, they would enjoy the slaughter even more than before and be rewarded for their strength. . For a moment you feel the thrill of seduction. Why not join these great warriors? Will you not give your soul to this soul? Why is there no immortality? But think for a momentSomething important was missing from them, and that loss made them not human. They may have had some respect, but it wasn't the respect Ragnar understood. Their twisted form reflects their twisted soul, and all the beauty of their ornate armor cannot hide this truth. Ragnar laughed and spat in the leader's face, then ran left and right into the fray. Even the Chaos Blade that bit into the broken bones made him regret his decision. A pit of darkness opened beneath his feet, and suddenly he cou

Book which was printed with various mechanical regularities in a language he did not understand, as it was impossible for Fenris to produce it. Children's toys made of exotic and exotic fabrics, soft and cool. Slowly, the gravity of what had happened here dawned on him. It was a war his people could never imagine. The city was overcrowded with more people than the entire world and was flattened by the forces released from here when the gods bent it down from the sky and flattened it. Maybe that's exactly what happened. His mind went dark as he imagined scattered and destructive forces directed against the city. Ragnar felt he was being tested and challenged here, and part of his process was to adapt to what he saw, understand, and continue to work. He learned that it would be terrifying for some of his relatives to learn to walk among these enormous ruins. He quickly decided that it meant nothing to him. He was Ragnar, able to fight on the deck of the Dragon Boat, and he would continu

DE CUP OF WIfLFENRAGNAR wakes up SLOWLY and painfully. He felt tired, like a man raised from the dead. All of his energy, all of his life force seemed exhausted. He could remember little of her trying him. It was a seemingly endless nightmare of violence and death in which every weakness in his psyche had been examined and exposed. When he looked at his body, he was surprised to see that there were no marks on it, now no bruises. He couldn't help but feel the feeling that there should be. He was naked. He was lying on a cold plate in a cave. The light came from one of the strange magical spheres. On the other dishes there are other aspirants. Here Sven recognized Strybjorn and Kjel. The cold, misty breath came out of their mouths and solidified into clouds as he met the chill of the cave. Ragnar was shivering and realized how cold he was. He got up from the slab and inspected the other bodies. One of them, a seeker he didn't know, didn't seem to be breathing. Ragnar stepped forward,

All the candidates looked at each other. They all wondered what he meant by Ragnarknew. His mind wavered from what he had heard. How could this old man know what Russ was like? How could he speak of antiquity with such certainty? He wasn't crazy, as far as he could see Ragnar. He seemed convinced he was right. And of course he was unlike any mortal Ragnar had ever met. He was bigger, stronger, faster. He had those awesome fangs and those weird wolf eyes. I say "may" because there is another possibility. It can kill you or it can be worse than killing youIt was just as likely that the old man had some hidden way to control those ever-burning lanterns. It seemed possible that they were simply machines, m

These peoples are advancing to inscribe their name in the history of all the human worlds. Those who now drink from this cup will do the same. If they are worth it. Think about it for a moment.Ragnar Thought. Was it just a story? Somehow he had doubted it. So far, nothing had been said to them aimlessly, and Ranek didn't seem like the type to be making things up. Even as he watched, the two armored warriors began pouring a strange brew into the goblet Ranek held in front of him. The ingredients came from two separate flasks and as they mixed in the glass they began to boil and steam. For as long as they did, Ranek spoke words in the foreign language that Ragnar had heard before. It seemed that if he depended on this chalice with evil in his heart, he would be doomed to become a monster and would undoubtedly be killed like the original Wulfen. However, he wondered where the monsters they called Wulfen came from. If they were unworthy aspirants, why were they still alive? How did the e
