Irene kept thinking about Noah's words about the contract Irene had canceled after getting out of Noah's car. *Flashback On* "Why did you cancel the contract?" Irene remained silent, staring at Noah's face, who was waiting to hear the reason that would come out of Irene's mouth. "So what? Don't I have the authority to choose which company to work with?" After a brief pause, Irene spoke up. Noah snorted softly, "Didn't you cancel because of our arranged marriage? I recently discovered that a reputable company like B4 Ninety-Eight employs an unprofessional leader like you." "Whatever it is, I have the right to stop cooperating with anyone if I don't want to." Don't forget, not come to pick me up later." Irene said as she stepped out of the car. *Flashback Off* Unlike other couples, Irene continued walking after exiting Noah's car without first waving her hand and smiling sweetly. Similarly, Noah resumed speeding the vehicle after Irene managed to get out. If o

When it was time to leave work, Irene got up from her chair and left the room, having finished tidying up her desk. Irene fell silent after exiting the building when she realized Noah had not arrived to pick her up. Irene's hands began to take the cellphone from the bag; after successfully unlocking the cellphone screen, Irene took a deep breath when she realized that she had not received a single message from Noah. “Sending flowers all of a sudden, but still do not come to pick me up? Does he really fit into the romantic guy category?” Irene pouted. Forcefully, Irene had to go home using public transportation. But, during her steps, a black car passed by and stopped next to Irene. "Where are you going?" Aaron inquired after successfully opening the car window to ask Irene. Irene took a look around. Even though having an unhappy life and marriage to someone who does not love her, Irene does not want people to know. Irene began to walk closer to Aaron, "I'm going to the bus

Irene's steps came to a halt in the kitchen when she noticed Noah using a light fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Irene quickly grabbed a thick cloth and carried it to the bathroom. Irene returned to Noah in the kitchen after successfully covering it with water and then threw it on the stove to help out the fire. After the fire was extinguished, Noah and Irene coughed together because they sucked in the smoke produced by the fire. "What are you doing? Do you know if you're going to burn us to death in here?" "Who would want this to happen?" Noah exclaimed, out of breath. "I was simply hungry and took the initiative to prepare my dinner." Noah later explained. *** Irene and Noah are now seated at the table. Irene finally made Noah dinner because she couldn't bear the thought of him going hungry. "How? It tastes really good, doesn't it?" Irene asked when she saw Noah eating dinner so voraciously. "It's just fine, nothing special." Noah flatly stated. Irene snorted,

"Aren't you going with Noah?" As Aaron and Irene entered the elevator, Aaron inquired.Irene turned around for a moment before pressing the number 9 on the elevator button. "Not. I didn't want to feel like an abandoned person when I got home, so I decided to bring my own car.""Is your relationship still not okay?" Aaron asked again."I don't think it'll ever be okay." When they arrived on the 9th floor, the elevator doors reopened. Aaron and Irene both exited the elevator. Her steps continued until she entered the room. Irene attempted to sit up by placing her bag on the table. Her gaze was drawn to the flower vase, which held a few roses that Noah had given her."If you truly love me, just tell me. Why are you so ashamed to admit it? What a man."With an irritated face, Irene opened her laptop, to start her work. A few moments later, Irene yawned in her hectic schedule; she was tired from helping Noah put out the fire and make him dinner the night before.Irene's hands began to move

Lunchtime is almost over. Noah and Irene are now on their way to Irene Company."Sometimes I wonder why they look so happy when we are feeling tortured," Noah stated.Irene turned her head confusedly, "What do you mean?""Our parents are always happy because they were successful in marrying the two of us. Did they ever imagine that this matchmaking would torture you and me?" Noah explained."I don't know, maybe they used to be like us. So they know we'll be fine, just like their household.""You mean your parents and mine used to get married because they were set up? Finally, they fell in love and were together until this very moment?"Irene nodded slowly, "It's possible, right?"Noah laughed when he heard those words. "What kind of bullshit? That is the most ridiculous sentence I've ever heard in my entire life."Irene frowned as she turned to face Noah, who was still focused on driving "Just so you know, you and I are not the only ones who got married as a result of an arranged marr
