Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Hidden Bilionaire (Hearts Series 1&2): Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

“Not sure if you know thisbut when we first metI got so nervousI couldn't speak”Eto na. The song 'Beautiful in white' by Shane Filan was playing. The church was filled with many people, sitting in rows of seats. The fancy designs and decorations made me gawk, admiring every little detail of it. The dim lighting and the white daisies attached to the arch in the stage were like leading us in something like a fairy tale. Everything was just...magical.The priest was already on the stage, ngumingiti sa mga bisita. The groom was also already in front of the best man, at may malaking ngiti sa kaniyang labi. Tita Maggie's favorite flower, white daisies, is placed i

Soon after that, nakita ko nalang si mama papunta samin with her own plate of food."Snow, do you want chocolate-?” She blinked at me, then looked at Luke from beside me once she noticed him, “Why hello there handsome... ikaw si Luke diba?" Tanong nya, sitting right beside me, at nasa kaliwa ko si Luke. Luke broke into a grin nang makita si mama, "Hi, Mrs. Waterstrings. Yes, I am Luke. It's a pleasure to meet you," He said before complimenting her with, “You’re beautiful po na mukhang magkapatid kayo ni Snow.” Ooh, so he’s charming my mother?I didn’t know how mom believed him, dahil tawa nang tawa na si mama sa kanya, halatang naloko rin at tuwang tuwa kay Luke. Just call me Aunt Evy since you two are in a relationship," sabi nya pa. A look of shock was evident on my flushed face. Gosh, ayoko nang mamula ngayon’ "Mom... hindi

I looked down and noticed a boy about Nathan's age. He seemed familiar, then at bigla ko syang naalala. He was the boy who came from the shop to order strawberry ice cream last time and he has been one of Nathan’s playmates back at Tita Maggie’s mansion. It's Caleb."Oh hey, Caleb!" I said, kneeling down on my knees nang makatapat kami. Tiningna nya ang aking mata ng ilang segundo before finally smiling at me, "You’re the pretty girl! Hello!" "You knew each other?" "She served me my ice cream last time at Eion’s shop!"Luke looked at me questioningly, checking kung tama ba ang sinabi ng bata. Nagkibit balikat ako."Your name is Snow, right?” Caleb asked, talking like he’s not just some five-year-old. Napansin ko na parang mature magsalita ang bata kung titignan sa kanyang edad. I nodded at his question, “Opo.” Tumango sya, “I see. You became prettier! Just like your picture from

After that “date” with Luke, we stopped by a fast-food restaurant and grabbed a bite there. He apologized, embarrassed that he brought me into a fast food restaurant on our first date. Hindi naman nya kasalan. It was Nathan and Caleb who forced him to go here. Luke’s plan was originally to eat at a high-end restaurant. Okay rin naman sa akin kahit saan. Pipili pa ba ako? Libre na nga to…“It’s fine, I really enjoyed today Luke,” sabi ko pa, assuring him. Well, I really don’t mind it. It’s really fine for me. But Luke seems so affected by it as he felt a bit disappointed, saying that he could do better than this. “Then how about you take me on another date? But during that time, that’s the date that I consider as our first.” Pag suggest ko pa, cheering him up. He brightened at this at tumango aggressively, “Yes. Mas maganda yang idea na yan. Salamat.” Sinundo nya na ako at si Nathan pauwi after that and as usual, I spent my weekdays working at t

"Snow...." My mom said in a sing-song voice when I arrived at the kitchen to have breakfast after a few days. "Hmmm?" I replied sleepily then sat down beside Nathan. Umaga ng lunes. I was half-asleep, my eyes half-closed. My hair was sticking in different directions. Scratching my head, I lean my head on my arm, humuhikab."Guess what?" I heard my mom asking. I could see from my line of vision that mom has a big smile on her face, a sign na may sasabihin syang importante."What?" Tanong ko sa kanya sleepily."It's the Anastolgia High! The results arrived this morning."I was scratching my neck when it hit me. Lumaki ang mata ko at nagising ang diaw, almost falling from the counter. As if reading my mind, she quickly said, "it’s on the table in the living room, I haven't read it yet." Until now her huge smile was still plastered on her face. Every step I take, my heart beats faster.Pano kung hind
