Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Lycan KIng's Lover: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Zira’s POVMyheart leapt in my chest as I watched the middle-aged man striding towards us.Despite the guards blocking him, he had easily used his strength and wolfpressure to push them away. All myworries from the last few days felt like they were finally becoming a reality. “Uncle!”Ronan cried out in pleasant surprise beside me, and I looked at him, confirmingthat he was genuinely happy about the person coming. “Withme here, none of you is qualified to place the crown on his head,” the man saidwith a smile and then turned to look at me. His eyes were warm, and he noddedat me right after our eyes met. Otherthan me, most of the important people in the room seemed to know him as theyhanded him the royal scepter. Iwatched the entranced as item after item was handed over to him until the twomale servants were seen carrying just two boxes. The manwalked towards me, and with a command, the boxes were opened, revealing twocrowns that were of different sizes. The gold caug

Zira’s POV“Nomatter what happens tonight, don’t fret. I’m here,” Ronan said as he pulled myhair into a high bun. Worryfilled my heart as I looked at him through the mirror, “what’s wrong? Howserious is it?” “Was itbecause of what I did the other time?” I ask, referring to the women I hadassigned to the Royal guards. “I’lldefinitely tell you about it later tonight,” he assured me, leaning down tokiss me on the top of my head.” My mindwas whirling with several thoughts, and being unable to bear his burden worriedme. I wasextremely worried; I was too naive to believe they wouldn’t have the audacityto do anything after we married. Aftermaking sure my hair was secure in a nice bun, Ronan pulled me up and wrapped aloose but luxurious robe around me. Sincewe would be shifting soon, there was no need to dress elaborately. Moreover, the robe was made from the fur of our ancestors and was regarded as precious.Iwatched as he donned a similar robe, his face devoid of emoti

Zira’s POVRonan scoffed at the two men on the dark balcony with us. “With just the both of you?” His knee-bending pressure filled the room and by the trembling in their legs, I could see that they were struggling to deal with it. “H..how??” The other man muttered as he fell on his knees, unable to do anything as their guns fell from their hands. “Get out and tell the bastards that sent you that, I’m coming for them.” He said with a low growl that had shivers running down even my own spine. It was not hard to imagine what those men were facing as a putrid and strong stench filled the air. I scrunched my nose up, disgusted at the liquid that was now flowing from one of the trembling men. “Be a little more gentle, they are going to give the maids a lot more work to do now,” I told Ronan jokingly while he responded by pinching my sides. Ronan led me out by the waist as if the two of them weren’t there. “Are we just going to leave them here?” I asked, using the mind link. “The sha

Zira’s POVA good night's sleep and my wolf’s healing abilities had taken all of the exhaustion from yesterday. But just thinking of having to sit through two hours of court meetings this morning had me feeling like dark clouds were hanging in the sky. “The king pampers you too much,” Laura grumbled as she pulled the last rope of my corset together. “And he is supposed to do otherwise,” I shoot her a questioning glare through the mirror and then raise my left leg so that Sophie can slip my shoes in. I was quickly getting used to the part of being queen and knowing that I couldn’t dress all by myself already. “You both should have gone to morning court together! By meeting him there, it would make the court officials and those elders think badly of you,” she grumbled under her breath but audible enough for me to hear her. I shrugged, unbothered by whatever scenario was disturbing Laura. The only thing that mattered to me was Ronan and if he had allowed me to sleep, then that means

Zira’s POV “Everything that involves the palace would now be in control of the Queen. If the palace is safe, then the people we rule would be safe,” Ronan said, and then passed the decree to the eunuch. After that, he attended to the other appeals and I watched him as he led his country. The morning court lasted three hours and by the time I was done, I was more than glad that this wasn’t something I needed every day. The both of us left the court, hand in hand with more than half of my body leaning on Ronan. “This is so exhausting!” I whined, allowing myself to become his wife the moment we were out of the depressive courtroom. I had so much to ask him, about his first brother and the marriage proposal. He seemed to have given up a little too easy right? I had expected him to refuse such an arrangement. After all, if he had saved the other girl from the command, he would have had the support of her family also. The courtroom was on the second floor which made it a bearable dist
