The Rising dead: The abandoned cabin
Thomas walked to the abandoned place that belonged to Thompson’s late grandmother, he had no problem following his instructions and in no time he was at the place. The cabin was not that far removed from society, a couple of yards away and the town would be visible, but it was clear that no one walked near it and probably if asked they would deny its existence or just treat it like a haunted place. There was a small path leading up to it but surrounding it was tall grass and he could probably hear rabbits or other rodents moving through it. It was an old construction and it was abandoned long ago, it had a dilapidated look and you could see through some parts of it, the windows were cracked and the door was broken and it was held by the lower hinge and it was ajar.Thomas silently walked up to the house and took a look, it was a complete mess: construction wood on the floor, the odd mice and a scent of rust and mold. The construction had two rooms and both of them allowed a perfect v

Alan Murray was giving his wife for a second time, he was trying to stop himself, the tears, the memories and the shock but he held on to the skull of his dead wife. Elizabeth gently tapped Thomas's arm letting him know it was okay to let go of her, and with empathy in her heart, she knelt beside him and placed her hand on his shoulder. “This must be extremely hard for you Alan, I can't even…” she didn’t know what to say, the words would not come out of her. Alan stopped sobbing but there was a quivering in him “I hurt…she was…I can’t…” his voice broke as he tried leaving the skull on the floor but still holding the locket in his hand. “It wasn’t her Alan, just her…her remains…you have done nothing wrong, you saved us, the necromancer was using her body to kill us.” Elizabeth's words were helping a little but emotion had him

The Rising dead: The story of the Photo
There was a tenderness in her seeing the photograph, for the last conversation Elizabeth had with her it was clear she was extremely close to her mother and the picture brought a lot of emotions back so it was expressed in her face.“This picture was taken so long ago when they were young. They were very good friends…they even were each other's bridesmaids at their weddings…” there was a pause to stop her feelings from pouring out.“They had their little inside jokes, they would knit together and were godmothers to each other's daughters. They were as close as only friends can be” Suddenly it felt like Claudia Martin was frozen in time as if she was actually seeing them around the house: around the fire knitting, with their goddaughters having a funny conversation or both of their families having dinner together, many memories contained in one house, where she was the sole guardian.“What happened to them?” Thomas assumed that it was plague related since his trip to the cemetery with
